There is investment activeness in Syunik Province. At the next session of the government, a program will be presented regarding a quite large group of Iranian companies to invest in the Meghri free economic zone. Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated about this Thursday in a briefing with reporters after the Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia.

“It will start to be implemented immediately after it is approved. In addition, there are many other topics, including tourism. We have a good project in Meghri, which we are doing together with the Izmirlian Foundation,” the minister added.

And to the question as to whether other investors besides Iranians were interested in Syunik, the economy minister responded: “We have many Armenian investors, too.”

A partner of Turkey’s ruling party, leader of the Nationalist Movement Party Develt Bahceli has gifted President Erdogan a map of the Turkic World.

Bahceli shared on his Twitter blog a photo of him gifting the President of Turkey a map of the Turkic World that he had personally drawn, showing a major part of the Russian Federation in the color of ‘the Turkic World’.

This has sparked great reactions in the Russian Federation where the Russians have viewed this as ‘a message’ to the Russian Federation.

The publications about the Armed Forces of Armenia capturing 6 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and then secretly returning them have been identified within the scope of monitoring of the mass media conducted by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia. This is what Advisor to the Prosecutor General Gor Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page, adding the following:

“The publications have been sent to the relevant body implementing proceedings to verify and examine within the scope of the criminal case instituted by the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the garrison in Yeghegnadzor with regard to the case of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan trespassing the state border of Armenia and violating territorial integrity of Armenia on November 14,” Abrahamyan stated.

News is being circulated in the presses and on social networks according to which on November 14 the Armenian side captured 6 Azerbaijani servicemen after clashes that took place following the provocation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the eastern direction of Armenia’s border and then secretly returned the Azerbaijani servicemen.

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired at a tractor in the Verin Shorzha village of Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, head of Verin Shorzha village Artyom Yeranosyan said during a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“There were a few gunshots. The firing stopped about 40 minutes ago. We had a tractor at the end of the village that they wanted to drive and come to the village, and that’s when they started to open fire,” Yeranosyan stated.

According to him, there are no victims, the situation is currently stable, and it has been calm over the past two days as well.

On Nov. 16, at around 1 p.m., the units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan attacked the Armenian military posts deployed in the given direction of the border — the adversary also used artillery, armored vehicles and firearms of various calibers.

According to the agreement reached after Russian mediation, on Nov. 16, starting from 6:30 p.m. there is ceasefire on the eastern border of Armenia, and the situation has become relatively stable.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, as a result of the Armenian side’s response operations, the adversary suffered many losses of manpower, a few armored vehicles were destroyed or are out of order.

The Armenian side also suffered casualties. To date, the Ministry of Defense has only reported verified data on one casualty, that is, 30-year-old contractual serviceman, Private Meruzhan Harutyunyan.

“The number of injured is also being verified. Another 12 servicemen are captured. The Ministry of Defense of Armenia will issue a press release in case there are new reports,” the Ministry of Defense reported.

Naira, the mother of serviceman Abgar Nazaryan who fell in the third war in Nagorno-Karabakh, posted a comment on her Facebook page. The comment reads as follows:

“Join us. Don’t keep silent. We are to blame for being indifferent and conforming.

I, Naira Nazaryan, other of eternal hero of the 44-day war in Artsakh Abgar Nazaryan, demand the resignation of scapegrace Nikol Pashinyan, who has seized power in the Republic of Armenia. Under his administration, Armenia has only been defeated, has been humiliated and has sacrificed its young generation. He says he is ready to be executed, if the people decides to execute him.

Let us ‘execute’ the scum inside the country so that he does not transfer Yerablur Military Pantheon and the other pantheons of Armenia to the Turks in the future.”

The parents of eternal heroes of the 44-day war have joined and continue to join this call, and among them is Melanya Aroyan (mother of Aziz Aghajanyan) and Elizaveta Budaghyan (mother of Arman Ohanjanyan).
