Nune Yesayan denies: She did not say about events of March 1 that they should not go there in order not be killed (video)

Today, Nune Yesayan had an opportunity to touch upon and once again deny that she had made the following statement during the events of March 1: “They shouldn’t go there in order not be killed.”

“I watched videos of March 1 and was very angry that I saw juveniles there. The next morning, a girl calls me and asks what I think. And I, being angry with the videos I had seen, told the girl, ‘what the juveniles were doing there?’

And they write that Nune Yesayan said, ‘they shouldn’t go there in order not be killed,’” explained the singer, adding that after consultation with her lawyer, she decided to keep silent and not refer to that announcement.

Nune Yesayan, referring to the velvet revolution, noted that she was for the change. “I’m for the independent person, for the free will. I’m not definitely with those revolutions, I’m afraid where there is a danger. I’m afraid for my children. I’m a passive citizen. I have friends in today’s government as I did in previous governments.”

To the question of A1+, why we did not see Nune Yesayan in the May 28 concert, Nune Yesayan said that former Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan had offered her to perform in one of the provinces. “I asked for some near provinces, as I could not take a long way, I was offered to perform in Ararat province, I sang. And the concert in Yerevan was not successful.”

Nune Yesayan touched upon her future plans and said that she is going to Beirut for two days for the concert and she has a big project ahead of Yerevan’s Holiday. She also presented her accomplishments of the entire creative life.

“I’m not going to give up singing. I am the only Armenian singer about whom the CNN had a reportage, I’m the only Armenian singer about whom the The New York Times wrote a report, the first Armenian singer who had a solo concert at the Kodak Theater many years ago, when Kirk Kerkorian was present at that concert. I have sung, I always sing. There can be not-lovers, not-appreciators, but do not offend my personality. After this, if anyone says anything about my family, they will be punished,” concluded Nune Yesayan.

By the way, today the singer met with journalists on the occasion of the gossips two days ago. The singer noted that she is very patient. “I am a lion, I have protected my right only.”

Gyumri. 7 people in dilapidated house (video)

Over 30 years have passed since the 1988 earthquake, but about 2500 homeless families in Gyumri continue to live in temporary shelters. No plans have been made yet to provide housing to these families, and it is unknown how many years they have to live in these damp house-wagons.

Our visit to the town of such house-wagons showed us that almost every family has people with chronic illness, which is, of course, a direct consequence of social, housing and living conditions.

The video presented by Shirak Center is about a family with seven members living in such a house.

Despite blocking attempts, Belarus eventually delivers multiple rocket launchers to Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, JUNE 11, ARMENPRESS. Belarus has eventually supplied Azerbaijan with the Polonez multiple rocket launchers, according to Azerbaijani media.

Back in 2017, Azerbaijani defense minister Zakir Hasanov visited Belarus where he viewed the production of Polonez in Minsk.

In April, Russian Kommersant newspaper reported that Belarus is planning to implement its first export of the systems, and the newspaper mentioned Azerbaijan as a likely client.

On June 11, Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening ceremony of the rocket military base of the country’s defense ministry, and official photos of the event show the Belarusian Polonez systems.

Earlier in February, Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda reported that Armenia had blocked its fellow CSTO colleague from selling the Polonez systems to Azerbaijan.

“We wanted to sell Polonez to Azerbaijan. But Armenia, our colleague in the CSTO, opposed this. The deal didn’t take place,” Belarusian military analyst Alexander Alesin had said.

Nevertheless, the official photos of the Azerbaijani defense ministry from today’s event clearly show the Polonez systems in Azerbaijan.

Yerevan calls Minsk’s decision to sell Polonez systems to Azerbaijan illogical

Interfax – Russia
Yerevan calls Minsk’s decision to sell Polonez systems to Azerbaijan illogical

YEREVAN. June 11

Armenia has described Belarus’ decision to sell Polonez multiple-launch rocket systems to Azerbaijan as regrettable and illogical.

“We regret that Belarus, which is a country friendly to us, takes part in multilateral formats [of cooperation] together with us and has allied obligations, sells weapons to the country that has a conflict with us. This issue will be brought up in due course. It is not very logical, bearing in mind that Armenia and Belarus have friendly and allied relations,” Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Ruben Rubinyan told Radio Liberty.

Earlier on Monday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was shown Belarusian-made Polonez multiple-launch missile systems adopted by Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces.

A source close to the Belarusian Defense Ministry told the Russian newspaper Kommersant earlier that Baku could begin buying Polonez systems from Minsk in 2018.

According to the newspaper, the first firm contract stipulates the delivery of ten systems (which consist of rockets, erectors-transporters, a command post, radar stations, etc.).

The Polonez heavy long-range multiple-launch rocket system was created in 2015 as part of military-technical cooperation between Belarus and China. One Polonez system is equipped with eight missiles and is mounted on an MZKT-7930 wheeled chassis. It uses independently targeted missiles with a range of up to 200 kilometers and an accuracy of up to 1.7 meters. The warhead yield is equivalent to 50 kilograms of TNT. New long-range missiles for the Polonez system with a range of up to 300 kilometers were demonstrated at the MILEX-2017 exhibition in Minsk.
