WHO IS SYUNIK GOVERNOR TO SET BREAD PRICE: HR. BAGRATYAN (VIDEO)

13:59 | October 23,2014 | Politics

Before turning to the draft on “Freeing businesses in border line
communities from taxes” presented by the Government, HAK Deputy Hrant
Bagratyan turned to HHK Deputy Vardan Ayvazyan’s announcement, that
there were many economic shortcomings during Mr. Bagratyan’s years
as Prime Minister.

“I won, Azerbaijan sank during three years of my premiership. What
relates to today’s draft, I want to say one thing, who is Syunik
Governor to set bread price. This ruins the state, state order,
there must be discipline. Then I understand that he wants to decrease
the awful increases he has done. Dear friends, when we speak about
mortgage privileges for building houses in border line communities,
I want to say that in border line communities houses aren’t built.”

The NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan made en extraordinary speech
and announced that it is normal that there has been such active
discussion, “There are few topics, over which we are united and
are able to form a joint intention. Some got nervous, may be it is
because the Government has really presented a good draft and for some
people this draft was a good occasion to express their privileges and
knowledge. Dear friends, don’t make it economics or other platform.”

Kurdish Activist Says World Has Seen Truth About Turkey

KURDISH ACTIVIST SAYS WORLD HAS SEEN TRUTH ABOUT TURKEY

10:59, 23 Oct 2014

Giran Ozcan works for the Kurdistan Solidarity Committee in Latin
America; he arrived two months ago to Argentina and on Tuesday, Oct.

21, he was one of the organizers of a rally in front of the Turkish
Embassy in Argentina to support the resistance of the Kurdish people
in the Syrian city of Kobane, which is currently battling the Islamic
State (ISIS) and the Turkish governmen, Agencia Prensa Armenia reports.

“We are trying to raise awareness of the resistance in Kobane. The
Islamic State for the past forty days has been attacking a little
town called Kobane. The fighters of the city have been defending
themselves,” said Ozcan in an interview with Prensa Armenia. On
Nov. 1 there will be a global demonstration in solidarity with the
Kurdish people.

“What we are asking the Turkish state is to remove the blockade they
have been putting on the city. They are not allowing Turkish people to
enter or help defend the city, and they are not allowing for supplies
to enter the city. In other words, they are objectively aiding ISIS
in trying to occupy Kobane,” he adds

NINE RUSSIAN ENTREPRENEURS ARE IN ARMENIA TO FIND LOCAL PARTNERS

results and the entrepreneurs of the two sides will find new partners.

“I am sure that in the staff of the Eurasian Economic Union the
commercial relations between Armenia and Russia will develop even
more. I am optimistic about these changes and I am convinced that
Armenia will be a good partner for other states,” he said.

The delegation of the Russian businessmen will stay in Yerevan for 5
days. The first day the meeting is conducted in “negotiation platform”
format, within the framework of which nearly 90 bilateral meetings

People Cannot And Do Not Want To Live In This Way – Armen Martirosya

PEOPLE CANNOT AND DO NOT WANT TO LIVE IN THIS WAY – ARMEN MARTIROSYAN

11:30 / 22.10.2014

Nyut.am conducted interview with the deputy leader of Heritage party
Armen Martirosyan.

Mr Martirosyan the October 10 rally raised a number of talks among
them not good ones coming from the inside opposition. Why?

– I consider it normal. The thing is that not only ideological but
personal fight occurs in our politics. If you are bearer of an idea
which is being carried out not by you but by others you hit this
person or force. This is the reality.

As to the October 10 rally, I would say that the most important
thing was the participation of citizen, as irrespective of the
circumstance whether we will succeed in our goal that is the change
of power, whether we will manage to conduct snap elections, whether
the authorities will manage to keep the power, one thing is clear
people can’t and don’t want to live in this way.

So, it does not matter who says what the important thing is that the
citizen is in fight.

– Does it mean that our political field is degraded and deprived
of morality? If they are not on the platform should they be against
those standing there?

– It was to be so. The political field could not but degrade as after
the independence we did not have the change of power.

This fact should have left a corresponding trace and if the political,
economic and social relations are being formed on unhealthy basis
the failure and immorality become inevitable.

– The Heritage has always been for Euro-integration. Was it easy for
you to put aside the ideas and stand by those who do not think so?

– We are the bearers of the idea of European integration and continue
to be so. We are cooperating with the forces who do not share our ideas
as we are working together over domestic issues. The four forces in
the parliament started cooperating in December last year over the gas
tariff and pension funds. Gradually, the circle of cooperation expanded
and the 12 points were born. Nevertheless, we have a clear approach,
no matter where Armenia goes it must be together with Karabakh. That
is to say after recognizing the independence of Karabakh we must
enter the union. Especially such union like the Eurasian one which
unlike the European Association Agreement is over state body.

– Who will be the leader in the end? Is there a sense of political
jealousness? Is there a fight between Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Gagik
Tsarukyan and Raffi Hovannisian?

– The most important thing is the process by which the president
will be elected in our country. And the important thing is whether
the elected president enjoys the trust of the people or not, whether
he is legitimate or not. Moreover, I think after the change of power
there will be more presidential candidates than you have mentioned. The
president will be the person elected by the people.

7 MILLION TONS OF NEGLECTED GARBAGE MAY BECOME WEALTH (VIDEO)

11:40 | October 21,2014 | Social

In many developed countries household garbage is turned into good
quality and much more inexpensive diesel fuel. According to the
specialists, there is 7 million tons of neglected garbage in the
central garbage site of the capital.

Every day the amount of Nubarashen garbage is increased by 400-450
tons. Instead of burning, as a result of sorting and recycling
secondary use materials can be obtained and big incomes may be got.

Since the Independence, the authorities have announced that the issue
is on their agenda. The last project of making the garbage site into
city wealth belongs to YerevanMunicipality.

“They promised and a project was presented to Yerevan residents that
Japanese are going to turn Nubarashen into Garbage recycling plant,”-
says Council member Anahit Bakhshyan.

The promise was given by Yerevan Mayor and the deadline was April of
this year. According to the data of Council member Anahit Bakhshyan,
the practical phase was stopped just after the start.

National Education Important For Armenia Regardless Of EEU Integrati

NATIONAL EDUCATION IMPORTANT FOR ARMENIA REGARDLESS OF EEU INTEGRATION PROCESSES – MINISTER

13:15 * 21.10.14

The past years’ educational reforms, which saw a switchover to the
12-year secondary school system and the gradual implementation of the
Bologna process, are irreversible developments whose success Armenia
is ready to share with other member states of the Eurasian Economic
Union, says the minister of education and science.

In an interview with Tert.am, Armen Ashotyan expressed hope that the
country’s past experience with different European educational projects
will be also of interest to the EEU member countries.

“Armenia is very active in the European education area, and it is very
active in the education projects with the EU too. It is important
to note that Armenia is a member of such projects as Erasmus plus
and Horizon 20/20. So I think education is the platform – especially
for Armenia – which may be of interest to the EEU member states too,
because we have studied well and adopted the European experience which
is, nonetheless, progressive and effective. But we of course bring it
in conformity with our own economic and national requirements. Within
the frameworks of the EEU, Armenia is ready to propose different
initiatives – different common education projects – which must not
conflict with the educational framework adopted earlier,” he said
expressing belief that the educational projects and proposals would
be compatible with the common European framework.

Asked whether the requirement for uniform educational standards will
necessitate courses in the different member states’ history in the
national curricula, the minister said he treats such a possibility
in the positive light.

“Armenia has its own state standards of general education; we, like
every other country, decide ourselves the content of our education. As
for the higher educational standards, the European education system has
developed such a concept as the national framework of qualifications
which, depending on the corresponding levels, defines the knowledge,
skills, abilities and set of values that a person with the given
graduation document or qualification attesting a specific level of
education is required to have.

“As regards the ‘textbooks about one another’, I think we would
definitely benefit from that if there were such a project. If, for
example, the classes of history provided extra information about
Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, then the same kind of information
about Armenia would be available in a country of 140 million like
Russia or in Belarus and Kazakhstan [whose population is] 10 million.

Would classes on the Armenian Genocide be bad for such a [big]
audience of several millions? Hence we are ready to discuss any
education initiative which will not run counter the mainstream
of Armenia’s education reforms. And that will help ensure quality
education services, facilitated recognition of diplomas etc,” the
minister explained.

Scandale Judiciaire : Non-Lieu Pour L’affaire De Corruption Visant L

SCANDALE JUDICIAIRE : NON-LIEU POUR L’AFFAIRE DE CORRUPTION VISANT LE GOUVERNEMENT

TURQUIE
