Jehovah’s Witnesses faced discrimination in Armenia – US DoS report

Jehovah’s Witnesses faced discrimination in Armenia, says US Dep. of
State report

11:44 – 21.05.13

The US Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and
Labor has criticized the Armenian authorities of placing restrictions
upon religious minorities in its 2012 annual country report on
International Religious Freedom.

`The constitution protects religious freedom; however, some laws and
policies restrict religious freedom. There were reports of abuses of
religious freedom. The law grants privileges to the Armenian Apostolic
Church not available to other religious groups. Most registered
religious groups reported no significant legal impedimentsto their
activities. However, according to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, 31 members
remained in prison for refusing on religious grounds to perform
mandatory military or alternative labor service. The trend in the
government’s respect for religious freedom did not change
significantly during the year,’ reads the executive summary of the
report.

The document highlights the reports on societal discrimination based
on religious affiliation, belief, or practice. It says further that
many media outlets in the country demonstrated biased against
religious minorities.

It refers to the US embassy efforts to urge the government to adopt a
law on alternative military service for conscientious objectors.

The document describes the situation with religious freedoms in four
different sections: Religious demogpraphy, Status of Government
Respect for Religious Freedom, Status of Societal Respect for
Religious Freedom and U.S. Government Policy.

The most Dangerous Islamist in the World is alive, fine and lives in

Ottoman Turkey
The most Dangerous Islamist World is alive, he’s fine, and lives in Pennsylvania

Translated from French

By Paul L. Williams – Family Security Matters

Stronghold Islamic Army Lists in the Pocono Mountains

The most dangerous Islamist in the world is neither Afghanistan nor Arabic.

It comes neither Sudan nor Somalia.

And it does not lie in the mountains of Pakistan nor the deserts of
the Palestinian territories.

This individual has undermined the secular government of Turkish and
opened madrasas worldwide.

His schools indoctrinate children in the tenets of radical Islam and
prepare adolescents for the Islamization of the world.

More than 90 of these madrasas have the status of the U.S. schools
have signed with the federal state charter, which are funded by
American taxpayers. One of the government aided schools – Tarek ibn
Zayed Academy (Tiza) Minnesota – is radically Islamic and subversive
to the extent that the Department of Education Minnesota filed two
lawsuits against it and that the Union Civil Liberties of suing.

Dozens of his universities, including the University of the Faith in
Istanbul, as young men to the profession of lawyer, accountant and
politician so that they are able to take an active part in the revival
of the Ottoman Empire and the Islamization of the Western world.

It is further believed that drives complex for training jihadis to
conduct guerrilla warfare.

Everyone has amassed a fortune – more than $ 30 billion – for the
creation of a universal caliphate.

His name is Fethullah Gulen and he resides not in the depths of
southern Turkey – but the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania is.

Since the fortress headquarters, located on a plot of more than 11
hectares, 1857 Mt Eaton Road in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, Gulen
preparing the overthrow of secular governments and oversees the spread
of education jihad throughout Asia , Europe and the United States.

Gulen is surrounded by an army of over 100 Turkish Islamists, who
guard him and meet his needs. The army consists of armed militants in
a suit and tie and not look like traditional Islamists wearing jilbab
and wearing the turban. They obey the orders of their hojaeffendi
(lord) and even forbid to marry before the age of 50, in accordance
with its instructions. When they get married, have expected their
wives they are dressed according to the precepts of Islam, as required
by Gulen himself.

The Saylorsburg property includes a building of imposing dimensions
surrounded by numerous outbuildings, including recreation centers,
dormitories, offices available to visiting foreign dignitaries, a
helideck and ranges. Neighbors complain of the incessant noise of
gunfire – including the rat-tat-tat of automatic weapons – emitted
from the complex, and that the helicopter flying at low altitude
around the area looking for intruders.

The FBI was called to the scene, according to neighbors, but no action
has been taken to stop this illegal activity.

Sentries stand guard to access the property to keep the curious away.

Inside the guard of large TV screens projecting high resolution images
filmed by security cameras.

Before the guard can be read on a plate “Shrine and Retreat Center On
Generation Exception”.

For residents of the neighborhood, it is difficult to understand that
the Muslim who runs this complex is neither a politician nor a U.S.
intelligence officer but a radical Islamist came from Turkey.

Gulen fled Turkey in 1998 to avoid prosecution he was being accused of
plotting against the authority of the secular Turkish government to
establish in its place an Islamic government. Since his arrival in
Pennsylvania, the Department of Homeland Security is trying to get him
expelled. But in 2008 a federal court ruled that Gulen was an
individual with “an extraordinary ability in the field of education”
who merited permanent residence in the United States.

This decision is subject to questions in that Gulen has no formal
qualifications or training. Gulen, according to the Middle East
Quarterly, was a student and follower of Sheikh Said Kurdi
(1878-1960), also known as Said Nursi, the founder of the Islamist Nur
(light). After the war of independence of Turkey, Kurdi demanded in a
statement the new parliament, that the new republic be based on
Islamic precepts. He stood against Ataturk and his reforms and against
the new modern, secular and Western / What is the real power of Gulen?
And why is it a threat to America and the West?

See it.

Power in Turkey is now in the hands of the Justice and Development
Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP), u party under the control of Gulen.
Abdullah Gul, the first Islamist president of Turkey, is a Gulen
disciple, as Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan,
the head of the Council of Higher Education in Turkey.

Under the reign of the AKP, Turkey has evolved from a secular state to
an Islamic state with 85,000 active mosques – one for 350 people – the
percentage per capita the highest in the world, 90,000 imams, more
imams as teachers and doctors, and thousands of Islamic schools run by
the state.

Despite the rhetoric of European Union accession, Turkey has
transferred its alliance with Europe and the United States to Russia
and Iran. It has evolved into a friendship with Hamas, Hezbollah, and
Syria and created a pervasive anti-Christian animosity, anti-Jewish
and anti-Americanism within the population.

Speaking last Monday at the opening ceremony of “TRT al Turkiye”, the
new channel state TV channel TRT, Prime Minister Erdogan said that
Turkey would always be on the side of Muslims wherever they are.

Gulen’s tentacles stretch across the country, its known to
Fetullahistes disciples, took control of the media in the country, its
financial institutions and its banks, and its commercial
organizations.

According to Bayram Balci, a Turkish scholar, the Gulen schools that
have been opened around the world, is to develop “the Islamization of
Turkey and Turkification of Islam” for the advent of a universal
caliphate based on the precepts of Islamic law.

Several countries have outlawed the opening of schools and Gulen
cemaats (communities) within their borders – including Russia and
Uzbekistan. Even the Netherlands, a nation that supports pluralism and
tolerance, has decided to cease any subsidy Gulen schools because it
is a direct threat to the social order. But Gulen’s activities in the
United States, the installation of a force in the middle of the Pocono
Mountains in particular, have escaped the attention of the national
press. In his public statements, Gulen adheres to the liberal version
of Sunni Islam / Hanafi hizmet and promotes the idea of Islam – a
selfless contribution to the common good.

Despite the paramilitary training in his Pocono fortress, Gulen has
condemned terrorism and called for a dialogue between different
faiths. He met with Pope John Paul II and the Greek Orthodox Patriarch
Bartholomew and the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel Elyahu
Bakshi-Doron.

In private, Gulen has stated that “to reach the ideal Muslim society
‘every method and path is acceptable’, [including lie.

In a sermon broadcast on Turkish television, Gulen said:

You must move in the aisles of the system without anyone noticing your
insistence until you reach all the power centers … until things are
ripe ‘they [the followers] must continue like this . If they do things
prematurely, the world will crush our heads, and Muslims will suffer
everywhere, like in the tragedies in Algeria, like in 1982 [in] Syria
… like in the disaster a year ago in Egypt . The time is not yet
come … You must wait the time it takes to get all the powers of the
state, until you have your side all constitutional institutions in
Turkey … Until then, any progress crossing would be premature – like
breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days required for its
outbreak. It would be like killing the chick who is there. Work to
confront the world. I expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all –
in confidence – and I am confident – in your loyalty and your
discretion. I know when you’re out of here – [as] you reject the
package of juice once emptied, you must remove the thoughts and
feelings that I have expressed here. Why does the federal government
have chosen to remain blind to Gulen and his imposing fortress?

Why madrasas Gulen they are visible on the radar screens of Homeland Security?

Why the CIA and FBI allowed Gulen they undermine and bring down
secular governments without interruption or even intervene?

The questions need to be answered.

Israeli regime sells $400mn of drones annually: Report

On May 11, the Israeli regime shot down one of its Shoval-type drones
over the Mediterranean Sea due to a `technical malfunction.’

The Israeli regime exports about $400 million worth of drones per
year, an Israeli daily reports.

The Ynet daily website recently reported that more than 49 countries
are the customers of the Tel Aviv regime’s aerospace industry.

Israeli industry insiders, according to the report, believe that the
drones may replace the regime’s warplanes and pilots within the coming
years.

`Eighty percent of the drones manufactured in Israel are exported,’
the report stated.

Israel has increased its investment on unmanned aerial vehicles
industry since 1982, when the regime used remote-controlled aircraft
during its war on Lebanon.

On May 11, the Israeli regime shot down one of its Shoval-type drones
over the Mediterranean Sea due to a `technical malfunction.’

Tel Aviv said the malfunction was because of loss of communications
and control with the ground. However, some media reports said the
Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah had taken control of the
$10-million aircraft before it was shot.

The Tel Aviv regime decided to ground all its Shoval drones to launch
an investigation to discover the reason for the malfunction, the
report said.

Last year, an Eitan-type drone crashed near Moshav Yesodot in central
part of the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of both a
human error and a technical malfunction.

DM spokesperson should reveal names of HR advocates who visited murd

Armenia’s DM spokesperson should reveal names of human right advocates
who visited murdered conscript’s family – Arthur Sakunts

18:36 – 19.05.13

Head of Helsinki Civil Association Vanadzor office Arthur Sakunts
demands Armenia’s Defense Ministry’s spokesperson present facts over
the claims that the parents of killed conscript decided to bring the
corpse of their son to Yerevan with the advice of an NGO.

In his Facebook post Defense Ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovanissian
wrote that the actions of Luxe Stepanyan’s relatives were organized.
`We understand the parents and not many will understand them better
than we, but no one should orient and make it a national tragedy and
shame,’ he wrote.

The post was followed by information that a day ago the parents of the
murdered conscript met with a human right advocate organziation.

`The statement of the DM spokesman is at least strange for me. He has
to make a clear statement and tell the names,’ he said. `The statement
made on conclusions speaks of their attitude toward the activity of
such human right organizations. Such attitude cannot promote the
increase of people’s trust toward armed forces,’ he said.

The human rights advocate reminded the spokesperson that he is not a
blogger or a common citizen but a spokesperson of state institution.

`If he makes his statement based on blogger’s or Facebook discussion,
Hovannisian must at least realize that he is not a common blogger or
citizen but a spokesperson of official institution, he represents a
state establishment,’ he stressed.

Sakunts said he is interested whether the spokesperson expressed his
personal opinion or the approach of the state establishment.

He also stressed that Hovannisian should better understand who is the
guilty of what happened. `If he is frank, he should pay attention that
the deaths in the army are not caused by human right advocates but by
awkward leadership. I assess it as an obvious call to divert the
attention of the people from the causes of all the issues which is not
appropriate for DM spokesperson and state institution in general,’
Sakunts stated.

Earlier bloggers and the chairman of Asbarez journalists club wrote in
Facebook that a representative of human rights advocate organization
visited the family of the killed conscript on the eve of the incident.

!

ARMENIA’S FREE DEMOCRATS PARTY TO BE DISSOLVED? – NEWSPAPER

May 17, 2013 | 08:48

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Free Democrats Party (FDP) could soon
dissolve and join the “restoring” Armenian National Movement (ANM),
Irates De Facto newspaper reports.

“Our source informed that internal talks have already begun with FDP,
and it is apparent that they are not at all against uniting with the
new political force.

According to our source, to avoid a possible ‘collapse’
of the political party, they have decided to make a ‘smooth’
transition-without severe shocks-under the aegis of the new political
force.

So, the Free Democrats Party leaders may soon state that they and
ANM members have the same ideological basis.

[But] the status of the initially two and now [solely] one member of
this party in the NA [i.e., National Assembly] faction is doubtful,”
Irates De Facto writes.
