deben siempre reconocerse y denunciarse.

condena.

Loretta Defends Her Bruises

LORETTA DEFENDS HER BRUISES

Interview with Zaruhee Hovhannisyan, journalist

Two pillars of the government, Ruben Hairapetyan and Suren Khachatryan,
were removed from their posts under public pressure. What changes
are taking place along with the inaction of parties?

Values are changing, stereotyped thinking is changing. We can see
that the society reacted otherwise to the incident in Goris. Respect
for money and violence is replaced with an understanding of values
and mores, while such people will not adjust to change. The society
is freer than the ruling elite, and the process is continuous. The
parties are not active because they have a patriarchal pattern and
representatives of the same system.

Will the government rid of its stereotypes as well? Will they also
prosecute the governor?

They are not changing, they must leave and they will leave but they
will not prosecute their team members because it will mean that they
will not be able to rely on them. More vivid representatives of the
criminal world will simply be weakened and driven to the margin. We
see a big difference in the reaction of team members. One year ago
they all justified Ruben Hairapetyan unanimously, now they are not
speaking in one voice.

The government will undergo a process of redistribution. Wealth is not
limitless. Let us not overlook the opportunities and wishes of another
sector of government. We heard about the offshore scandal of the prime
minister. Despite the educational makeup the aspirations are the same.

Zaruhee, you often come back to the role of woman in the family. As
seen in the video, Suren Khachatryan’s wife Loretta was one of the
key participants of the incident? Is she a fearless but non-free kind
of woman?

Loretta’s actions are typical of the patriarchal family model
because kleptocracy is developed and preserved by women who bear this
mentality in them. They often undergo domestic violence and think
it is something normal. Loretta is defending her bruises which she
got regularly instead of love. Meanwhile, the scary men tend to hide
behind their wives at crucial times. They register their property in
the name of their wives, send them forward during clashes. Remember
Member of Parliament Samvel Alexanyan who said it is his wife’s,
not his property.

The women who appeared in government and parliament due to commitment
to European standards are mainly women with masculine mentality who
service and protect the interests of men. Had Loretta been aware of
her rights, she would have sued him for violence.

Are we on the way to a democratic society, will change of the foreign
political bias and signing of the EU-Armenia Association Agreement
accelerate this process in Armenia?

Armenia must choose a direction – where it will face and where it will
walk. Does it want to live in the ditch of the civilization which
leads nowhere, encourages violence and corruption or achievements
of civilization? In Russia the requirement is straightforward – our
country must be part of the culture based on violence, law enforcement
agencies. There is a choice.

At the same time, Iran held an election the results of which satisfied
people. In Iran people took to the streets to celebrate, not to
protest. In 2008 the same people had to pay a high price for mass
arrests and hundreds of casualties for their electoral right. Now a
similar process is happening in Turkey. Remember March 1.

Now stereotypes are crushed.

Opinion Poll Shows 46% Of Respondents In Yerevan Are Potential Emigr

OPINION POLL SHOWS 46% OF RESPONDENTS IN YEREVAN ARE POTENTIAL EMIGRANTS

June 17, 2013 | 16:37

YEREVAN. – Armenia is facing depopulation rather than emigration,
head of the Armenian Sociological Association Gevorg Poghosyan.

He said the official data showed that in 2013 the number of migrants
raised by 10,000 as compared with four months last year.

The opinion poll conducted in Yerevan revealed that 46 percent of
respondents are potential emigrants.

“It is a half of population with indicators higher among men (around
50%) than among women (42%). Fifty-two percent of young people are
potential emigrants,” he said.

Among the reasons for leaving the country, respondents named
unemployment (32%), no prospects (30%), no justice (20%) and no
housing facilities.

Noting that there is a certain link between migration and rate of
happiness, Poghosyan stressed that 70 percent of pollees said they
feel happy but around 41 percent of them want to leave Armenia.

ARMENIA DOES NOT WANT TO OPPOSE EURASIAN INTEGRATION PROCESSES TO EU PROGRAMS: ARMENIAN PM

18:22, 17 June, 2013

YEREVAN, JUNE 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenian government does not want to
oppose Eurasian integration processes to programs implemented with
European Union. About this said Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran
Sargsyan in the interview to “Liberty” radio station, reports
“Armenpress”. “We have always made this political statement and we
are glad that our Russian colleagues also have such position as they
also say that they are not contradictory but programs complementary
to each other,” he said.

Prime Minister of Armenia mentioned that Armenia continues works with
his two partners – European Union and Eurasian Economic Community. “We
have dialogue with both sides due to which we go forward step by
step,” said the leader of the government mentioning that if difficult
questions arise negotiations begin to overcome them. “It is our
strategy and we will try to do our best to keep this combination,”
highlighted Tigran Sargsyan.

In the sphere of foreign policy Armenia continues multipronged policy
deepening relations and cooperation with various bodies.

Though it is spoken a lot that in integration process Armenia will
face a dilemma Armenian authorities assure there has not been put
a demand to make a choice in that issue and such demand will not by
put in future.

Nikol Pashinyan Accused Deputy Premier Of Kickbacks

NIKOL PASHINYAN ACCUSED DEPUTY PREMIER OF KICKBACKS

Member of Parliament Nikol Pashinyan said during the extraordinary
meeting of parliament that the deputy prime minister Armen Gevorgyan
denies the revelations of the Control Chamber, which is understood
because had they been admitted, the government would have to resign
but it is going to continue working in the same way.

He recalled that last September Serzh Sargsyan raised the same issue.

In particular, he criticized them for kickbacks but, strangely,
the same government was reappointed. According to Nikol Pashinyan,
if Armen Gevorgyan dismissed the revelations by the Control Chamber,
he also dismisses Serzh Sargsyan’s statements.

Nikol Pashinyan referred to Serzh Sargsyan’s statement on catching the
big fish and said that they are not doing it. Nikol Pashinyan accused
Armen Gevorgyan of practicing kickback, since according to the press,
he is a co-owner of Toyota Armenia. Pashinyan says the office cars
of the government and parliament are Toyotas.

Armen Gevorgyan dismissed rumors that he is a co-owner of Toyota
Armenia Company noting at the same time that cars are not bought
only from that company. Nikol Pashinyan insisted that there were even
Wikileaks proving he is a co-owner of Toyota Armenia.
