Իմ ընթացիկ աշխատանքային պարտականություններին զուգահեռ կամ ի թիվս դրանց վարչապետի հանձնարարությամբ ունեմ մի քանի առաջնային անելիքներ՝ համակարգել և/կամ նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներ տանել և/կամ ուսումնասիրություն անել մի շարք ուղղություններով: Այս մասին Facebook-յան էջում գրել է ՀՀ առաջին փոխվարչապետ Արարատ Միրզոյանը:


Դրանք են՝  սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներ, ընտրական օրենսդրության բարեփոխումներ, անցումային արդարադատություն:


«Այնպես որ առաջիկա մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում սպասեք ինձ, իմ «վատ կերպարը բացահայտող», իմ «դիմակը պատռող» հրապարակումներ որոշ «անկախ» «ԶԼՄ-ների» և ՖԲ-յան «չեզոք վերլուծաբանների» կողմից։ Սա մասամբ կիրականացվի «Նիկոլը լավն ա, թիմը՝ վատը» աշուն-ձմեռ 2018 ակցիայի շրջանակներում (խնդրում եմ նկատել, որ խոսում եմ նպատակաուղղված հակաքարոզչության, պիտակավորման և վարկաբեկման մասին, այլ ոչ թե քննադատության մասին, որի տեղիքն իհարկե կարող ենք տալ)։


Անկեղծ ասած, էդ տեսակ «սևացումն» արդեն էական չի, թեև խոստովանեմ՝ սկզբում անակնկալ էր և տխրեցնող։ Էականը՝ շարունակելու եմ մնալ մեր հռչակած արժեքների նվիրյալը, շարունակելու եմ ահռելի պատասխանատվության զգացումով և անմնացորդ ծառայել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը, շարունակելու եմ ջանք չխնայել մեր երազանքների երկրի՝ հզոր, ազատ և երջանիկ Հայաստանի կառուցման համար։ Հավատացած եմ՝ որպես հանրույթ, որպես պետություն հաջողելու ենք։ Հաստատ հաջողելու ենք»,- գրել է Միրզոյանը։

Հանրապետության նախագահի նստավայրում այսօր տեղի է ունեցել նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի եւ պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելի հանդիպումը, որին մասնակցել են երկու երկների պատվիրակությունները:


Ողջունելով կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելին ու գերմանական պատվիրակությանը ՝ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ այս պատմական այցը նոր հորիզոններ կբացի հայ-գերմանական հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար: Սա կանցլեր Մերկելի առաջին պաշտոնական այցն է Հայաստան, բայց նա մեր երկրում եղել է նաև ավելի վաղ:


«Ուզում եմ գոհունակությամբ նշել, որ Հայաստանի եւ Գերմանիայի միջեւ հարաբերությունները խարսխված են փոխըմբռնման եւ խորը վստահության վրա: Գերմանիան Հայաստանի համար շատ կարեւոր գործընկեր է, բայց մեր համագործակցությունը հնարավորություն ունի շատ ավելի ընդլայնվելու տարբեր ոլոտներում: Եւ, իհարկե, չեմ կարող իմ գոհունակությունս չհայտնել Ձեր երկրի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման եւ նաեւ այն քաղաքական աջակցության համար, որ զգում ենք Եվրամիության հետ մեր համագործակցության ընթացքում, քանի որ Հայաստան- Եվրամիություն հարաբերությունները շատ կարեւոր նշանակություն ունեն մեզ համար»,-նշել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը:


Կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելն իր գոհունակություն ու շնորհակալությունն է հայտնել Հայաստանում հյուրընկալվելու համար. «Սիրելի պարոն Սարգսյան: Ուրախ եմ հյուրընկալվելու Ձեր երկրում եւ ուրախ եմ մեր հանդիպման համար: Անցյալ տարի մեր երկրները նշում էին դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստաման 25-ամյակը, եւ մենք այսօր արդեն կարող ենք ամփոփել, որ մեր հարաբերությունները դրական են: Համամիտ եմ Ձեզ հետ այն առումով, որ մեր հարաբերություններն ունեն չօգտագործված ներուժ, եւ այն պետք է օգտագործել ինչպես քաղաքական ու տնտեսական, այնպես էլ գիտահետազոտական եւ տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտներում: Մենք ցանկանում ենք մեր մասնակցությունն ունենալ Հայաստանի կողմից հայտարարված բարեփոխումներին, ուշադրությամբ հետեւում ենք գարնանը ձեր երկրում տեղի ունեցած փոփոխություններին եւ գործընթացներին: Պատրաստ ենք շարունակել համագործակցել այս թերեւս դժվարին, բայց կարեւոր ճանապարհին»:


Հանդիպմանը զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են Հայաստան-ԵՄ համագործակցությանը, ինչպես նաեւ երկկողմ հարաբերությունները տարբեր՝ մշակութային, կրթական եւ գիտական ուղղություններով խորացնելու հնարավորություններին:

Political scientist Hayk Martirosyan told “A1 +” that German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit to Armenia is cognitive as well as parity.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has arrived in Armenia on August 24. This is Germany’s Chancellor, as well as Merkel’s first visit to Armenia.

Merkel was welcomed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at Zvartnots airport.

“Yesterday Angela Merkel was in Georgia, and today, she is in Armenia, and on the third day, she will be in Azerbaijan, the primary destination of the visit. This is a visit aimed at laying the groundwork for the gas export from Azerbaijan to Germany. There is no other important agenda,” Martirosyan assures.

Hayk Martirosyan noticed that Germany completely abandoned nuclear energy after the the disaster of Japanese Fukushima nuclear power plant, and now it needs a huge amount of raw material.

“President Trump is against the exports from Russia, and he voiced about it. Merkel has begun to look for alternative ways, and this visit is aimed at that,” said the political scientist and added that the Transcaucasus is considered as a common geopolitical zone in Western misconceptions, so when traveling to Baku, it would not hurt the German leadership to make stops both in Tbilisi and Yerevan. “Especially that these are countries that have great potential for cooperation with Germany and did not use it yet. And these are the two countries where there are democratic authorities.”

He also added that the overall system in Georgia is such, but in Armenia, it is still a part of the system, and Germany can see things to do here, which is welcomed.

The Merkel-Pashinyan meeting was the second, the first was informal and took place on July 12 in Brussels within the NATO summit. Armenian Prime Minister and German Chancellor will sum up the results of the negotiations at a joint press conference.

During the visit, Chancellor Angela Merkel will also meet with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian.

Political scientist, former MP Ruben Hakobyan touches upon the speech of the Prime Minister of Armenia at the August 17 rally. He expresses his concern over threats by visits of National Security Service (NSS) in case of further escalation of internal political tensions, replacing the functions of state institutions with rallies in public squares, and possible threats for the implementation of the road map of the Prime Minister on snap elections.

As he stated on his Facebook page a few days before the rally, this time also he expresses his concern that further aggravation of the internal political tension may affect the national and state security of Armenia, by taking into account some of the episodes of Nikol Pashinyan’s speech.

Discussion of legal issues of cooperation between RA Ministry of Defense and RF Ministry of Defense to take place in Moscow

On August 21-23, discussion of legal issues of bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation will take place in Moscow.

The Stepanakert Republican Stadium will be the site of the 2019 CONIFA European Soccer Cup

The Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) on Monday announced that Artsakh  will host the 2019 European Football Cup.

The tournament will be held in June 2019 in Stepanakert, the capital. Exact dates will be announced soon.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to build on the momentum of the 2018 Paddy Power World Football Cup,” said CONIFA President Per-Anders Blind. That tournament, hosted in London in June, saw unprecedented fan and media interest in CONIFA. Over 400 journalists were accredited from almost every major international media outlet, CONIFA’s Twitter feed recorded over 6 million impressions and 250,000 people watched the live-streamed matches. 3,000 people attended the final at Enfield Town FC, which saw Karpatalya beat Northern Cyprus on penalties.

“After the incredible success of London 2018, we are excited to be taking our next tournament to a beautiful and relatively undiscovered part of the world,” continued Blind. “During several official delegation visits to Stepanakert, CONIFA has received incredible hospitality. We are confident that participating teams, fans and travelling media will enjoy the same experience next year.”

Artsakh gained de facto independence following the end of the Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1994, a conflict which also involved Armenia and Azerbaijan. It remains unrecognised by the international community. The Artsakh football league has prospered since 2009, and the Artsakh Football Federation was founded in 2012.

“Artsakh has been a member of CONIFA since our inception in 2013, and participated in our first-ever tournament in Sweden in 2014,” explained CONIFA’s European Director Alberto Rischio. “Given their long-term involvement in the CONIFA family, we were delighted when the Artsakh Football Federation first expressed interest in hosting the tournament.”

12 teams will contest the tournament. 2017 European Football Cup winners Padania, runners-up Northern Cyprus and 2018 Paddy Power World Football Cup winners Karpatalya will join the host team as automatic qualifiers. The remaining eight teams will be determined during CONIFA’s annual general meeting in January.

“It will be a wonderful celebration of sport, culture and friendship,” said Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Artsakh Republic, Narine Aghabalyan.

CONIFA is the international football confederation for teams not part of FIFA. Its members include states, unrecognised states, regions, minority groups and sports-isolated territories. CONIFA is a strictly politically neutral charity, and is run by volunteers.

Further details about the 2019 European Football Cup will be released shortly.

PM’s August 17 meeting in Republic Square attended by up to 150.000 people

The meeting convened by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Republic Square on August 17 was attended by up to 150.000 people, Police Chief Valeri Osipyan told reporters during today’s press conference.

“The August 17 meeting, which was convened by the PM aimed at summing up 100 days of the government’s activity, was attended by up to 150.000 people as there were also people outside the Republic Square”, he said.

He informed that during that day the Police conducted high-level service as a result of which no incident occurred during the meeting.

3rd President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also to be questioned over 2008 March 1 case – SIS chief

3rd President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will also be questioned over the 2008 March 1 case, Sasun Khachatryan, Head of the Special Investigation Service, told reporters after today’s Cabinet session.

“All those who have any links with this case will be questioned, without exception. Serzh Sargsyan will also be questioned”, the SIS chief said, asked whether Serzh Sargsyan will be questioned over this case.

Asked when Serzh Sargsyan will be questioned, the SIS Head said: “It will be decided by the investigator based on the necessity of the investigation. The investigator decides whom to question, when and on what matters. It’s an investigation tactic, and the investigator should plan his actions so that the questioning will be effective. The questioning is not an end in itself, it aims at acquiring some data”.
