ISTANBUL (CIHAN)- Renowned Turkish artist Ahmet Gunestekin’s video

in the southern province of Adana.

The video, which was updated by the artist to include recent incidents
in the country, also tells about the Gezi protests, which started on
May 28 in protest of government plans to demolish a park in Istanbul’s
Taksim Square and have claimed the lives of four people; the explosion
of twin car bombs that killed more than 50 people on May 11 in the
Reyhanli district of the Mediterranean province of Hatay; and the

case of Nagorno- Karabakh conflict escalation

ssia-will-be-for-armenia-in-case-of-nagorno-karabakh-conflict.html
21:38, 4 July, 2013

YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS: Russia has obligations towards Armenia
which must be done. About this said Russian expert Constantine
Kalachev to vesti.az. In his opinion Russian public opinion in case of
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict escalation will be for Armenia. `Despite all
efforts of OSCE Minsk Group it was not possible to settle the conflict
yet,’ mentioned the expert, reports `Armenpress’. In his opinion
Russia is not ready to have position of protecting one of the
sides. `Russia has close relations with Armenia. There is great
Armenian community in Russia. At the same time Russia wants to develop
friendship relations also with Azerbaijan,’ he mentioned.

He does not expect progress in Nagorno-Karabakh issue in coming
future. Reminding international precedents Russian expert mentions
that one or two generations must be changed for it. It is not excluded
that earlier or later Azerbaijan tries settling the conflict wit using
force. `Moscow is not interested in the war between Armenia and
Azerbaijan. Moscow can not protect unambiguously one of the sides. Its
role has been and will be preventive,’ the expert said.

Heritage party condemns sales of Russian weapons to Azerbaijan

Heritage party condemns sales of Russian weapons to Azerbaijan

July 04, 2013 | 19:14

YEREVAN. – The opposition Heritage party has issued a statement
strictly condemning sales of Russian weapons to Azerbaijan.

The party also condemned the decision to transfer Shah Deniz 2 gas
field to Trans-Adriatic Pipeline. According to the statement, both
decisions damage Armenia’s interests and hamper European integration
of the South Caucasus

`The sale of arms by our de jure CSTO ally is strictly reprehensible
act which is inconsistent with the strategic partnership,’ the party
said in a statement. They are confident that such a move is possible
only because of the Armenian authorities’ policy.

`If Russia’s unacceptable behavior continues, Armenia should review
its relations with that country. If any citizen of Armenia and
Nagorno-Karabakh dies in an attack of Smerch used by Azerbaijan, the
responsibility will fall on a country-supplier,’ the statement said.
