YEREVAN.- Military parade showed we have new weapons and ammunition,
we saw what our factories are producing, Major General Arkady
Ter-Tadevosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The renowned military
pointed out the drones made by Armenia.

“Weapons are also being modernized. We have demonstrated the newly
acquired equipment which is very important. S-300 anti-aircraft
missile systems demonstrated at the parade are not up-to-date (Russia
has already produced S-400 and S-500) but at the regional level our
facilities are sufficient to ensure security,” he said.

Ter-Tadevosyan also referred to missile defense complexes and other
types of weapons shown at international exhibitions.

“Thank God, Armenia already has its own weapons,” said Major General
who was agreeably surprised both at military equipment and skills of
military personnel.

Automatically controlled anti-aircraft missile system S-300, one
division of which can simultaneously track six targets by launching
two guided missiles at each, were demonstrated at the parade.

Specially adjusted to the conditions of mountain air, defense
battalions of S-300 control the entire airspace of the Republic
of Armenia.

Ankara Menace De Geler Ses Relations Avec L’UE En L’absence De Solut

ANKARA MENACE DE GELER SES RELATIONS AVEC L’UE EN L’ABSENCE DE SOLUTION A CHYPRE
[email protected]

armenews.com
mercredi 21 septembre 2011

TURQUIE

communaute turque.
