d’eventuelles frappes aeriennes contre l’Iran voisin.

attaque aerienne d’Israël contre l’Iran”.

Interroge a propos des menaces israeliennes d’attaque militaire contre
l’Iran, M. Erdogan a fermement rejete mercredi de telles menaces.

BAKU: MP: Armenian Parade In Shusha To Become Another Laughingstock

MP: ARMENIAN PARADE IN SHUSHA TO BECOME ANOTHER LAUGHINGSTOCK

Trend
March 28 2012
Azerbaijan

The military parade, which the Armenians intend to hold in Shusha,
will become another laughingstock, Azerbaijani MP Aydin Mirzazade
told Trend today.

“The parade, which Armenia held in Yerevan last September, was
frivolous and ill-prepared show,” he said. “In such a situation, one
can not call the event, planned to be held in the Azerbaijani occupied
lands with disorganized, poorly equipped Armenian Army, as a parade.”

Armenia wants to show its citizens that the claims to Nagorno-Karabakh
are still on the agenda and that Karabakh is under Armenian occupation,
Mirzazade added.

“But the Armenian people are interested in the solution to everyday
social issues, security and integration into the global community,
rather than the claims of field commanders – natives of Karabakh,”
he said.

The MP said Armenia has little time to continue ignoring the
international community’s opinion with impunity.

“First of all, Armenia harms itself by its policy,” he said. “Today
Armenian statehood itself acquired as a result of some historical
chance faces a big threat.”

Mirzazade stressed that Yerevan demonstrates the impossibility of
peaceful coexistence on the rules of the international community.

Armenian media disseminated the information about the intention to
hold a military parade involving Armenian ground forces and air forces
in the Azerbaijani occupied town of Shusha on May 9.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988
when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian
armed forces have occupied 20 per cent of Azerbaijan since 1992,
including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts.

Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The
co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group – Russia, France and the U.S. –
are currently holding peace negotiations.

Armenia has not yet implemented the U.N. Security Council’s four
resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the
surrounding regions.

SERIOUS PROGRESS COULD BE EXPECTED IN THE SETTLEMENT OF NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT THIS YEAR

Ali Hasanov: “We expect many things from Russia in this issue”

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. “Azerbaijani President has stated many
times during his meetings both with Russian president and other
corresponding organizations that Russia and Azerbaijan are partners.

There are strategic relations between the countries, which cover all
spheres. That’s why the Russian foreign minister’s visit to Azerbaijan
is not an ordinary one. It must be assessed as an important step in
the determination of priorities of our relations for the next years
and stages”, head of Public Policy Department of the Presidential
Administration Ali Hasanov told APA commenting on the upcoming visit
by the Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov to Azerbaijan.

He said that Russia and Azerbaijan discussed and decided on wide
range of issues.

Asked can this visit assist the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh
problem, Hasanov underlined that many things are expected from this
visit: “We have stated many times that there is no such other country,
which has stronger effect in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict than Russia. We make these statements on both regional and
Nagorno Karabakh issues considering Russia’s influence on Armenia. In
fact, the Russia’s influence on Armenia has no parallel in the world.

Russia can force Armenia to take constructive or non-constructive
position on any issue. In this context we expect many things from
Russia. There are certain initiatives from Russia. Both Russian
president and foreign minister have made efforts in this direction many
times. They announced that such efforts will be continued afterwards. A
serious progress could be expected this year”.

By Maxim Pyadushkin

Mar 29, 2012

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Co. plans to improve the landing gear on the
entire fleet of Sukhoi Superjet 100s following two incidents of
Aeroflot-operated SSJ100s that revealed broken pods on the actuator
of the landing gear bay door.

The first incident took place in Minsk in December 2011. On March 16,
another Aeroflot SSJ100 flying from Moscow to Astrakhan was forced to
return to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport for the same reason. According
to the spokesperson of United Aircraft Corp., Sukhoi’s parent, these
aircraft have been repaired. The airframer planned to install the
reinforced actuator rods on all other aircraft of this type by March
25 without taking them out of operation.

The other four SSJ100s operated by Aeroflot will be repaired at the
airline’s home base at Sheremetyevo. Armenian carrier Armavia’s sole
aircraft will be repaired in Yerevan, Armenia.

“The designer and maker of the SSJ100 landing gear,
Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, will take part in these activities,” said a
UAC representative, adding that this defect did not show itself during
the aircraft’s testing, and it does not threaten passenger safety.
