Associations Des Droits De L’homme a Aliev : Arretez Cette Campagne

azerbaïdjanais Melahat Ibrahimkizi a accuse Eylisi d’offense non

l’humanite.

Istanbul. Mais Alizadeh – APA. “Turkey’s President Abdullah Gul’s
congratulation letter to Serzh Sargsyan on his re-election as
President of Armenia was realized in accordance with our national
traditions. As before, after the announcement of the election results
in other countries, sent congratulatory letter”

This is stated in a response to APA’s Turkey correspondent’s question

framework of international rules of politeness in mutual form may
be sent messages. It will be useful to assess the issue as part of

Note that the Turkish President Abdullah Gul on February 20, before

Baku: Top Official: Turkey Must Make Clear Its Congratulations To Ar

TOP OFFICIAL: TURKEY MUST MAKE CLEAR ITS CONGRATULATIONS TO ARMENIAN PRESIDENT

Trend, Azerbaijan
Feb 21 2013

Turkey must make clear the issue of Turkish President Abdullah Gul’s
sending his congratulations to his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan,
deputy head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, head of
the foreign relations department Novruz Mammadov said on Thursday.

“I have learned from the press that Turkish President Abdullah Gul
allegedly sent the congratulation,” he said. “I do not have the exact
information, as I must examine this issue, because Turkey and Armenia
have no diplomatic relations. In general, Serzh Sargsyan received one
or two greetings. Even if there was such a greeting, it is Turkey’s
and Abdullah Gul’s position and this must be made clear.”

Earlier, Turkish President Abdullah Gul has congratulated Serzh
Sargsyan on his re-election as the Armenian President.

Turkey and Armenia have no diplomatic relations and the border between
the countries has been closed since 1993. This was caused by Armenian
claims for international recognition of the so-called “genocide”
and occupation of Azerbaijani territories.

Presidential elections were held in Armenia on Feb.18. Incumbent
President Serzh Sargsyan won the presidential elections gaining 58.64
percent of the overall votes.

The First Foreign Minister of Armenia Raffi Hovannisian ranked second
winning 36.75 percent, while former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan
ranked third after receiving 2.15 percent of the vote.

Food: Dinner Tonight: Armenian Chicken And Aubergine

DINNER TONIGHT: ARMENIAN CHICKEN AND AUBERGINE

The Times, UK
February 20, 2013 Wednesday 12:01 AM GMT

by Lindsey Bareham

Shopping is kept to a minimum for this subtly flavoured chicken and
aubergine stew and, once home, there is very little cooking required.

Chicken thighs are browned, onions are softened, aubergine is peeled
and diced, then everything cooks gently in one pan. The aubergine
wilts into a creamy almost-sauce imbued with chicken juices and the
stew is served over couscous or rice with a dollop of thick creamy
yoghurt and a sprinkling of chopped flat-leaf parsley. It reheats
perfectly. To make this for four, add a second aubergine and onion,
more chicken and a little extra water.

Serves 2 Prep: 20 min Cook: 45 min Ingredients:

1 large onion, approx. 200g3 tbsp olive oil4 skinned chicken thighs1
plump aubergine, approx. 200g75ml water140g sheep’s milk yoghurt1
tbsp finely chopped flat-leaf parsley

Method

Halve, peel and finely chop the onion. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a spacious,
lidded saute or frying pan, stir in the onion and cook, stirring
regularly, for 5 minutes over a medium heat. Season with salt, reduce
the heat, cover and leave to gently soften while you heat the other
1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and brown the chicken on both sides. If
it sticks and resists turning, rest the pan off the heat for a few
minutes, then lift with a spatula, turn and finish cooking. Peel the
aubergine, quarter lengthways and, holding the pieces together, cut
into kebab-size chunks. Stir the aubergine into the softening onion,
place the chicken among the vegetables, add the water and final 1 tbsp
olive oil. Cover and cook over a low heat – I used a heat diffuser
mat – for 45 minutes, giving the odd stir and turning the chicken once.

Serve over couscous or rice, with a dollop of yoghurt and parsley
garnish.

Raffi Hovannisian said that everyone has faults and sins, and he is no

Armenian people, united and undivided. And I call on these people to
defend their victory and their rights”, he said.

Will Armenia Cut Diplomatic Ties With Czech?

WILL ARMENIA CUT DIPLOMATIC TIES WITH CZECH?

16:46 20/02/2013
Story from Lragir.am News:

On February 20 the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech parliament adopted
a document condemning the “Khojalu genocide”perpetrated by Armenians.

It is noteworthy that the document is adopted while the 25th
anniversary of independence is celebrated in Armenia and Karabakh. At
the same time, the document is adopted on the days of the presidential
elections in Armenia.

No one knows what the diplomatic staff and the foreign ministry of
Armenia were busy with. Anyway, it had never been said that the Czech
parliament was going to discuss such a document.

This is the next failure of the Armenian diplomacy in Eastern Europe.

Several months ago Hungary extradited Ramil Safarov who had killed
the Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan. It is noteworthy that the
document is adopted on the 9th anniversary of Margaryan’s death.

On the same day, there was information that the Armenian and Karabakh
foreign ministers met and discussed bilateral relations.

It’s a pity the decision of the Czech parliament shadowed this
historic meeting.

Eastern Europe seems to be Armenia’s “Achilles’ heel” where the
Azerbaijani lobby works actively and effectively.

By the way, when Hungary extradited Safarov and Azerbaijan freed and
glorified him, the Czech Republic was among the first countries to
condemn it and to support Armenia.

Hence, it is proven again that there are no friends and enemies in
politics but only interests which are to be served always in order
to avoid surprises.

Those responsible for the foreign policies of Armenia had better be
a bit more attentive with Eastern Europe and they had better follow
what happens in corridors to avoid unexpected decisions.
