"Regime Of Criminals Runs Out Of Resources"

“REGIME OF CRIMINALS RUNS OUT OF RESOURCES”

The ethnographer Aghasi Tadevosyan analyzed April 9, what has happened
and what should be done. Importantly, the opposition candidate was
followed a lot of people, demonstrating that the majority of the
society does not recognize the results of the election and believes
they were rigged, so Serzh Sargsyan’s election was ensured by way
of fraud, he says. He says it is positive that there were no clashes
but there are people who are dissatisfied with such an outcome.

Perhaps they wanted to push people to clashes like Levon
Ter-Petrosyan. Perhaps those people need casualties to finalize the
scenario that is their mind, attack on the presidential palace, etc.

Nothing of the kind happened, and it is good, he said, adding that
there were mistakes, shortcomings but it is very difficult to control
angry people while the police behavior was sometimes outrageous.

“People who are not worth anything special are speaking about Raffi
Hovannisian’s political death. Those are meaningless cliches. Already
a new kind is emerging in the society. I am happy to see people in
photos who are not Raffi’s supporters but they take to the street
out of civil responsibility. This movement has important implications
for Armenia,” the ethnographer said.

The only purpose of Serzh Sargsyan’s regime is to rob Armenia, with its
potential and thinking it will eventually face problems, they will be
in trouble due to their ignorance and roughness, they will not stand
the pressure of the society which has already crossed the river and
will not be able to get back. Such people will grow in number. It
is already visible. At the same time, Aghasi Tadevosyan thinks the
criminal regime is running out of its internal resources, it will
have problems with holding on till the next presidential election.

“Another important fact – they do not have the next presidential
candidate. Who? Hovik Abrahamyan is too weak for this position, he
could not even ensure enough votes in his native region. He is a weak
person for the clan, he cannot keep the situation under control. The
mere thought about Galust Sahakyan makes one laugh, young Republicans
are too weak. Tigran Sargsyan is a protege, proteges cause collapse
of the regime. Give me the name of a person who is able to inherit
and control the government of bandits,” he said.

There is no need to be disappointed and think about leaving Armenia.

“I am looking forward to my return to Armenia. We have a very good
young generation, the elderly are also good. This regime will collapse
sooner or later. This not a problem, the problem is future plans. We
must be ready for the collapse of the regime,” he said. Soon we will
be able to state our purpose and draft an action plan. We need to
self-organize, establish real political forces with clear programs
of development of Armenia which will be understood and accepted by
the society, says the ethnographer.

the armed conflict.

the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria, stressing that it
seriously affects the civilian population, including Syrian Armenians
as well. He expressed confidence that the only way of settlement is
the dialogue between all sectors of society in Syria and expressed

As The Ox Falls, Slaughterers Come

AS THE OX FALLS, SLAUGHTERERS COME

Inauguration Tuesday was followed by a situation which could described
by an Armenian saying “as the ox falls, slaughterers come”.

April 9 and Raffi Hovannisian’s behavior rightly caused disappointment
and criticism. After all, the society demands several things from its
leaders – predictability, understandable language, clarity of actions.

These are musts for the success of a political movement, and whenever
one of them is absent, the movement has serious problems with mobility.

While the public is disappointed, the political forces for which
Raffi Hovannisian’s post-electoral factor was a serious obstacle to
their status in the field of opposition are happy.

The pre-electoral picture of the political field differs from the
post-electoral picture. The refusal of the ANC and the PAP to run
in the election which was at least as irresponsible, controversial
and funny as Raffi Hovannisian’s behavior on April 9 has sent those
forces into an awkward situation which looked even more awkward when
Raffi received 37% or 540,000 votes.

Then the forces which described elections in Armenia as a farce
suddenly decided to run in the mayoral election and win or announce
that they will win. Judging by the presidential election, these forces
are running in the mayoral election to defeat Raffi Hovannisian,
not Serzh Sargsyan. Meanwhile they run to the inauguration ceremony
of Serzh Sargsyan directly or indirectly, such as Gurgen Arsenyan
running the second on the list of PAP or other alternative PAP members.

The developments of April 9 have boosted their expectations of victory
over Raffi Hovannisian, which is reflected in the indirect but rather
transparent response of these parties.

Armenia’s Authorities ‘a Mob’ – Opposition MP

ARMENIA’S AUTHORITIES ‘A MOB’ – OPPOSITION MP

17:18 ~U 10.04.13

Nikol Pashinyan, an MP from the opposition bloc Armenian National
Congress (ANC), told Tert.am that he did not see “a mob” either in
Freedom Square or in Baghramyan Avenue on Tuesday.

He saw Armenian citizens struggling for their rights. Mr Pashinyan
does not share the view that, the leaders absent, the people turned
into a mob.

“Unfortunately, Armenia’s authorities turned into a mob because they
are ignoring Armenia’s laws and Constitution. So the people have
to make efforts to establish control over this uncontrollable mob,”
he said.

Asked about Raffi Hovannisian’s visit to the Memorial to Armenian
Genocide victims (Tsitsernakaberd) in company with Chief of Armenia’s
Police Vladimir Gasparyan, and their joint prayer, Mr Pashinyan said
that he views Mr Gasparyan’s involvement in Armenia’s government
system as strange.

With respect to Tigran Khzmalyan’s opinion of Raffi Hovannisian’s
“political suicide in public yesterday,” Mr Pashinyan withheld comments
on “obituaries and judicial verdicts.”

Asked about his intention to participate in Raffi Hovannisian’s rally
scheduled for this Friday, Mr Pashinyan said Friday will show.

A STRIKING STUDENT WAS PULLED AROUND, THE RED RIBBON WAS TAKEN OFF HIS HEAD, AND HE WAS HIT (VIDEO)

April 9 2013

Today the striking students clashed with the students of the University
of Economics who were waiting for them outside the university. The
students boycotting their classes were shouting “student strike,” the
students of the university were shouting “go away.” The confrontation
later turned into a brawl. One of the students of the university
pulled around a striking student of the same university when the
latter tried to enter the university. “They took the red ribbon off
the head of one of the participants who tried to enter the building
and hit him,” a striking student who had witnessed the incident told
us. Police officers did not pay attention to the “report of the crime”
of Gor Hakobyan participating in the protest. Later on one of the
students of the university attacked the striking students with fists,
“Mind who you’re talking to, brat!”

Police officers interfered and calmed the student down. Then the
students got involved in an incident with the police. “Why are you
here? You don’t prevent what you should prevent,” a striking student
told a police officer. “Don’t you know why I am here? I have been with
you for 2 months now; don’t you know why I am here? And why are you
stirring up tension? It is not right.” The striking students left at
the request of the university’s students to “go away.” Arpine SIMONYAN

Armenia’s Meat Products May Interest Iraq – Producer

Armenia’s meat products may interest Iraq – producer

April 11, 2013 | 01:34

YEREVAN. – Iraq is a promising market in terms of exporting Armenia’s
meat products, Natfood Company Production Manager Karen Nikoyan told
Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“In our view, the Iraqi market is the most realistic from among the
Muslim countries. Neighboring Iran protects its domestic market very
strongly, and that is why there are virtually no imported sausages
there.

“As for Iraq, the market in that country is quite inclusive and has
purchasing power, whereas its own products still do not meet the
demand. For this very reason they are establishing contacts with
potential suppliers,” Nikoyan noted, and added:

“We likewise are interested in the Iraqi market and are preparing to
enter the Iraqi market in a medium-term.”
