Henrikh Mekhitarian égalise le record de 22 buts en championnat d’Ukraine

L’international arménien Henrikh Mekhitarian a encore marqué. Lors de
la 23e journée du championnat ukrainien, il marqua le deuxième but du
« Chakhtior » Donetsk contre « Zaria » Loukanski. Son club, le
champion d’Ukraine remportant 3-0 renforce sa place de leader. Mais ce
22e but de Henrikh Mekhitarian est aussi un record en championnat
d’Ukraine. L’Arménien rejoint Sergueï Rebrov et Maxim Chatskikh en
tête des meilleurs buteurs de tous les temps du championnat d’Ukraine
de première division. Selon toute probabilité, l’international
arménien, élu « Meilleur footballeur d’Arménie-2012 » dépassera dans
quelques jours le seuil des 22 buts en devenant le plus grand buteur
de l’histoire du championnat ukrainien.

Obama suggère la réduction de l’aide financière à l’Arménie

L’administration Obama-Biden a proposé jeudi une réduction record de
38% de l’aide financière des Etats-Unis à l’Arménie pour 2014. Si le
Congrès adopte ce projet de loi de l’exercice 2014 pour l’aide à
l’étranger, l’année prochaine l’Arménie recevra une aide financière la
plus faible depuis le séisme de 1988 a annoncé le Comité National
Arménien d’Amérique (ANCA).

Selon les informations transmises par l’ANCA le montant de 24,7
millions de dollars proposé par le président américain est inférieur
de moitié à ce qui a été demandé par l’ANCA et le Caucus du Congrès
sur les questions arméniennes (50 millions de $) au début de cette
année. En 2013, l’aide financière américaine à l’Arménie était de 40
millions de $.

Pourtant, la Maison Blanche va continuer à maintenir la parité de
l’assistance militaire entre l’Arménie et l’Azerbaïdjan. En
particulier, l’aide à la formation et l’éducation militaires
internationales (IMET) s’élèvera à 600 000 $ et le financement
militaire étranger (FMF) sera de 2,7 millions de dollars.

Le projet de loi d’aide étrangère ne contient aucune disposition pour
le Haut-Karabagh, en dépit du fait qu’au cours de ces dernières
années, l’USAID a alloué 2 millions de $ par an à cette fin. Ce niveau
de financement pour le Nagorno-Karabagh est considérablement moins que
l’intention exprimée par le Congrès depuis de nombreuses années – y
compris le niveau minimum de 5 millions de dollars approuvé par la
House Appropriations Committee en 2013.

« Le président Obama, qui a pris ses fonctions en s’engageant à
maintenir l’aide à l’Arménie et accroître les échanges commerciaux et
les investissements bilatéraux, a toujours couper dans les programmes
d’assistance arméniens, tout en omettant de prendre des mesures
concrètes pour promouvoir le développement des relations économiques
par le biais de traités d’investissement, d’accords fiscaux, de
missions commerciales ou d’autres politiques et pratiques couramment
utilisées » a déclaré le directeur exécutif de l’ANCA Aram Hamparian.

YEREVAN.- Leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian said people will
not forgive playing political games.

Addressing his supporters on Friday, former presidential candidate
said the people gained victory on February 18 and will be confidently
moving to securing the victory.

Hovannisian emphasized ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Armenian National Congress
and Prosperous Armenia parties must rule out playing political games.

The rally ended in the rain. During the next week, representatives of
“Barev, Yerevan” opposition bloc, the core of which is Heritage party,
will hold election campaign in the Yerevan districts.

The next traditional Friday rally at Liberty Square will be replaced by
a meeting with the representatives of civil society who are supporting
“Barev, Yerevan” bloc for Yerevan Council elections set for May 5.

Practically all the biggest Armenian brandy producers – Yerevan Brandy
Factory, Proshyan Brandy Factory and “Noy” brandy factory refused
owning this amount of brandy and told Arminfo correspondent that it
has nothing in common with them.

Meanwhile, a truck trailer, carrying 30 ton of brandy from Armenia was
on fire in Ruis tunnel on the central highway Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze,
local television reports on Friday.

As head of the anti-fire service of Gori district Mamuka Imerlishvili
stated, electricity had been disconnected in the tunnel, anti-fire
brigades and rescuers were working on the ground and managed to put
out the fire.

According to the preliminary information, malfunction in the truck
might have caused the fire.

According to mass media, the brandy was being transported to Russia
through Poti.

The next rally led by opposition leader Raffi Hovannisian has kicked
of at Yerevan’s Freedom Square in the rain.

Hovannisian, who returned from Moscow earlier today, first kissed
the national flag and then greeted the people gathered at the square.

In his speech, the Heritage party leader spoke about the clashes
between his supporters and riot police on Baghramyan Avenue following
the ‘scheduled inauguration of a new Armenia.’

“I promised you that we would celebrate the victory together, and no
blood would be shed. We will not allow the authorities to rest in the
coming months. We will have the victory we are longing for without
shedding even a single drop of blood,” said Hovannisian.

The Heritage leader is going to continue his meetings in the capital
and regions.

He also addressed to Serzh Sargsyan, saying, “Mr Sargsyan, I
have already said that the Armenian people do not recognize your
re-election, your false oath and the place you are sitting [26
Baghramyan Avenue]. These authorities will resign as people have won.”

Former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannsian, who went on a “private”
visit to Moscow yesterday, has just arrived in Yerevan.

He said he will announce a few points of his program during the rally
to be held in Liberty Square today.

In his words, he was invited to Moscow to present “the opinion of
the majority of the people”.

Hovannisian did not say who had invited him to Moscow. However, he
did not deny that he met with some Russian officials, noting that it
was not President Vladimir Putin.

Raffi Hovannisian thanked journalists for meeting him at the airport,
saying that it is the first time that reporters have covered his
return.

On 12 April President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan
was present at the military exercises with the involvement of several
subdivisions of the Defense Army held in the eastern part of the
republic.

The President stressed the importance of such activities, noting that
they contribute to the maintenance of the armed forces’ high level
of combat readiness.

The President handed in valuable presents to a group of servicemen for
the successful performance of tasks set during the military exercises.

The Republic of Armenia defense ministry’s delegation headed by acting
