“Create myths about yourself. Gods also started that way.”

The author of these funny words was certainly familiar with the
Armenian government, as they clearly explain what the Armenian
propaganda machine has been doing in the last decade.

We have heard many times the myth about a supposed Great Armenia
that once existed from sea to sea, and that the Armenian people once
inhabited Azerbaijani lands. These fables are the work of the sick
imagination of the Armenian political elite, who have ruled Armenia
for years.

Unfortunately, over time, Armenian rulers have developed more and
more “mythical diseases.” Adequacy, sobriety and consciousness are
something that Armenian officials have been denied of due to their
own fault in recent years.

They have lied so much that they cannot distinguish truth from
falsehood and their own false suppositions. Their megalomania, caused
by an inferiority complex, does not allow them to realistically assess
what is happening around them.

I can cite a statement by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian
who was asked by a local reporter why Russian President Dmitry Medvedev
discussed the Karabakh conflict during his official visit to Ankara.

In response, Nalbandian made a surprising statement: “Russian
President Dmitry Medvedev has the right to speak about the settlement
of the Karabakh conflict, regardless of where and with whom he holds
talks. Medvedev has repeatedly arranged meetings between the Armenian
and Azerbaijani presidents, and it does not matter where and to whom
he expresses his opinion on Karabakh,” the minister added.

One gets the feeling that Nalbandian and his colleague President
Sargsyan live in some sort of matrix.

Certainly, the minister’s statements were presented by local
journalists as though the Armenian government allows world leaders
to discuss Karabakh. In other words, Russia and Turkey would not have
discussed the conflict in Turkey without Nalbandyan’s permission.

I note once again that their lack of a clear consciousness prohibits
these neighboring peoples soberly evaluating their policies and
economic situation. Innocent Armenian people suffer as a result,
and they would have returned Azerbaijan’s ancestral lands had it not
been for the government and the diaspora.

So, one should not be surprised if one day Nalbandian will announce
that it was Armenia who allowed the United States to impose sanctions
against Iran, or that Armenia influences the Arab-Israeli conflict,
or finally, that Russia won the right to host the 2014 Olympics in
Sochi with Armenia’s help.

Perhaps, Boris Gryzlov was wrongly informed about the decision of
the Azerbaijani authorities to declare persona non grata for all
foreigners who visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan without
permission of the Azerbaijani authorities, the Azerbaijani Foreign
Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told Trend.

“This decision applies not only to Russian citizens, but also any
foreign citizen. A list of these people has been made. All of them
are listed as people whose stay in the territory of Azerbaijan is
not desirable,” Polukhov said.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry declared five deputies of the State
Duma – Konstantin Zatulin, Igor Chernyshenko, Kirill Cherkasov,
Tatiana Volozhinskaya and Maxim Mishchenko as persona non grata for
their participation in the monitoring of the “parliamentary elections”
held May 23 by the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.

decision concerns Russian MPs. Of course, I treat it negatively,
” Boris Gryzlov said on Monday in Yerevan, answering the question of

At a news conference in Yerevan, State Duma speaker Boris Gryzlov
said that he is negative on the decision of the Foreign Ministry of
