Protest held outside Public Relations and Information Center of Armenian PM’s office

Panorama, Armenia

A group of people on Tuesday staged a protest outside the building of the Public Relations and Information Center SNCO under the Armenian prime minister’s office.

Highlighting that the SNCO is called upon to serve the interests of Armenia in the information war, protesters stated, however, the institution does not fulfill its functions and after Nikol Pashinyan came to power, it aims to resolve personal issues of the authorities and to help Nikol Pashinyan maintain his power.

“This is the very SNCO which uses foul language to attack parents of the fallen servicemen, war veterans and opponents of Nikol Pashinyan. Many of our compatriots do not know about this SNCO. Now we have gathered here and have carried toilet paper with us to give it to SNCO employees so that they wipe their dirty mouths with which they offend people,” said one of the protesters.

They also brought vegetables with them to the SNCO building: “This is a reflection of their human qualities; they are vegetables and weeds of our society,” the man added.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
