Karabakh President attends event dedicated to 95th anniversary of foundation of Martuni city

President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today attended an event dedicated to the 95^th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Martuni held in the center of Martuni region.

In his speech during the solemn event held at the local park, the head of state stated that people need to feel the air of peace again in the city that heroically overcame the bitter consequences of the war and that Martuni will become an attractive place as a result of large-scale investment projects.

During the visit, the President also convened a working consultation and discussed the problems in the region. He particularly declared that there is a plan to build up to 500 apartments in the city in the course of the next five years. Haroutyunyan also assigned to prepare the plan for the city, carry out all construction works, etc.
