In connection with the car accident in Tavush Marz, I would like to report that no serviceman was seriously injured.


Artsrun Hovhannisyan, spokesperson of the Minister of Defense, wrote about this on his Facebook page.


“Shamshyan will also be thanked from Baku for the details of the accident, the almost complete personal information of the servicemen,” his post said.


To note, earlier Shamshyan.com reported that today, August 23, a car accident took place in Tavush region. At around 03:30, under still unknown circumstances, a GAZ 66 car with license plate number 6710 Sh was overturned near the military unit of the RA Defense Ministry located near the village of Baghanis.


As a result of the accident, the 11 servicemen in the car were taken to the Noyemberyan Medical Center with minor injuries.
