The term of preventive detention against Gagik Tsarukyan was extended for another three months. This was reported by Iveta Tonoyan, the spokesperson of PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan.
“During yesterday’s court session, Gagik Tsarukyan’s defense team refuted the accusations, presenting their absolute groundlessness. There is no valid reason to keep Gagik Tsarukyan in custody.
However, in today’s Armenia, when justice is optional, such decisions are made.
However, as Gagik Tsarukyan personally said during the court session yesterday, “This too will pass, life will put everything in its place.”
We are convinced that this fabricated criminal case cannot continue indefinitely, and truth and justice will find their place sooner or later. No matter how much an attempt is made to make justice selective or discretionary, the principle of the rule of law must remain unshakable.
We believe that very soon Gagik Tsarukyan will be free and justice will win,” he wrote.
