As part of her visit to Armenia, Queen Sofia of Spain visited the pagan temple of Garni and the “Symphony of Stones” natural monument, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Armenia reported.

At Garni Temple, the Queen of Spain witnessed the significance of the history behind this unique Hellenistic Armenian architectural site.

Her Majesty also visited the “Symphony of Stones” natural monument, a specially protected natural areas of Armenia.

Queen Sofia of Spain’s visit to Armenia will continue until Thursday, October 29. Her Majesty will attend the Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development award ceremony in Yerevan, as well as events aimed at strengthening friendly ties between Armenia and Spain.
