“I’ll give an example with the airport. The airport has also been granted a concession right, which has nothing to do with the territory. In this sense, the concept of occupancy of the Zvartnots Airport territory as such does not exist,” Grigoryan noted on Wednesday during government hour in parliament.
According to him, this right establishes operating rules and provides the opportunity to operate the facility for a certain period, also providing for the possibility of termination.
The Deputy Prime Minister also explained that this concerns concession rights for five or six potential infrastructure facilities, and in the future, also for gas and oil pipelines.
“These facilities will be located in different locations, and the territory they pass through has no bearing on the concession framework,” Grigoryan said.
