Within the framework of the working visit to Brussels, the representative of the Supreme Body of the ARF, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, in the company of Gaspar Karapetyan, the President of the European Office of the Hay Dat, had a meeting with Kostas Mavrides, a member of the social-democratic political group of the European Parliament.

“At the end of my working visit to Brussels, I met with Kostas Mavrides, a member of the social-democratic political group of the European Parliament.

Mr. Mavrides is a great friend of our people, he has always actively participated in the implementation of projects related to us in the parliament. Months ago, he initiated an international conference in the European Parliament on the denial of the involvement of the European Union in the release of Armenian prisoners held in Baku.

During the meeting, we discussed various issues of concern to the Armenian and Cypriot peoples. I presented to my interlocutor the internal political situation of Armenia and our assessments, as well as the country’s external challenges. At the end of the meeting, I invited Mr. Mavrides to Armenia to get acquainted with the situation on the ground and to plan further joint work.”
