Hasakah (Syria) Governor meets Armenian Orthodox Archbishop of Aleppo

Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad met with Makar Ashkarian, Archbishop of the Armenian Orthodox Diocese of Aleppo and its Dependencies, to discuss the importance of strengthening communication and coordination in a way that contributes to consolidating stability and cooperation among the governorate’s various communities.

Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad received Makar Ashkarian, Archbishop of the Armenian Orthodox Diocese of Aleppo and its Dependencies, on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Hasakah Deputy Governor Ahmad al-Hilali, the governorate’s Internal Security Forces Commander Marwan al-Ali, and his deputy, Mahmoud Khalil.

The meeting addressed the importance of strengthening communication and coordination and promoting the values of coexistence and mutual respect among the various communities that make up Hasakah Governorate.
