CC: Armen Kurdian: Candidate for Congress from California

· September 30, 2026

My family’s story is the American story.

My mother was born in Tabriz. My grandfather was born in Armenia. Over the years, my aunts, uncles, and cousins came to America from Iran. They became citizens, built new lives, started families, and worked hard to create something better.

My father lived the American dream. He built a successful business, provided for his family, and showed me what freedom and opportunity can make possible.

That heritage shaped my decision to serve. I spent 25 years defending our country in the U.S. Navy. I witnessed firsthand the sweat and tears it takes to protect the freedoms that allow families to build, earn, prosper, worship, raise children, and pursue their dreams.

I want America to remain a place where our extended Armenian family—and every family that comes here legally and embraces this country—has opportunities to thrive, security to raise a family, and to enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

Today, I want to continue my service here, from the state of California, as a U.S. Congressman.

I grew up believing in the American dream. It is the country I protected. And it is the place I want to help preserve. I’d like to hear back from you. Please send me a note at akurdian@kurdianforcongress.com or reply to this email.
