percentages. But these percentages tell us how many people are missing–and why
reversing the decline must become an immediate priority.
Measurement alone, of course, will not fill a church.
What it can do is reveal whether efforts to fill it are working.
Suppose attendance rises following sustained personal outreach. Weekly
information can identify the change.
Suppose digital engagement increases dramatically but physical attendance does
not. That distinction becomes visible.
Suppose substantial financial resources are committed to a program but participation
remains unchanged. Leaders gain information that can guide the next decision.

performance.
The process is continuous.
Measure. Learn. Adjust. Measure again.
Over time, weekly information can establish patterns strong enough to distinguish
genuine revitalization from temporary fluctuations.
It can also change expectations.
Once an Armenian community knows that attendance can be measured every week,
persistent empty pews become harder to explain away – and genuine progress
becomes easier to recognize and replicate.
The objective is not better statistics.
It is fuller churches.
