The court returned the lawsuit of the former head of the Office of the Representative for International Legal Affairs, member of the Wings of Unity Party, Liparit Drmeyan, against RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. We learn about this from the “Datalex” system.

Judge Alfred Vardanyan noted several flaws in the basis of returning the claim: Liparit Drmeyan’s patronymic was not mentioned in the claim, as well as the address of his registration place, and copies of the claim and accompanying documents were sent to Nikol Pashinyan’s registration address.

“However, it is more than an obvious fact that the address of the respondent’s registration is not the address of the latter’s actual residence and notification at the same time. Therefore, it turns out that the notice address was not mentioned in the claim, and the submitted receipt cannot be a proper proof that the copy of the claim and the copies of the attached documents were sent to the defendant”, the court recorded.

The court also assessed Drmeyan’s claim not clearly and definitively. The latter demanded that Pashinyan be obliged to “publicly deny in the same way and with the same publicity” the information mentioned in subparagraphs “a” to “t” of point 3.1 of the claim. According to the court’s assessment, such wording does not clearly explain what specific information is required to be denied. The court emphasized that it is not authorized to choose or formulate the claim instead of the plaintiff.

Let’s remind that Liparit Drmeyan applied to the court with the demand to deny the information considered defamatory.

During the briefing on July 30, Pashinyan announced that he was reporting on the crime. Hinting at Drmeyan, he said that the HEC managed by Samvel Karapetyan had a source in the government.
