The arrest for the purpose of presenting to the court means that the prosecutor has already initiated a public criminal prosecution against Martun Grigoryan, and the investigator has come to the conclusion that it is necessary to apply such a restraining measure, the application of which is reserved to the court.

In other words, it is expected that the Anti-Corruption Committee will submit a petition to the Anti-Corruption Court within 24 hours regarding the application of a restraining order.

At the same time, the investigator is also authorized not to initiate such a motion and to release the accused from arrest.

Taking into account the previous experience, as well as the maximalist approaches of the investigative bodies, it can be assumed that the petition will be submitted precisely for the purpose of applying detention as a preventive measure.
