The number of officially registered unemployed people in Azerbaijan rose 8.5% year on year to 248,500 as of July 1, 2026, according to the Report media outlet.

Citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s monetary policy report for the first half of the year, the media outlet reported that the number of officially registered unemployed people as of July 1 had increased by 3.6% compared with January 1, 2026.
