China Southern Airlines has officially opened its Yerevan office, marking another step in the airline’s continued development in the Armenian market and its efforts to strengthen air connectivity between Armenia and China.
Representatives from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia, the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Economy, “Armenia International Airports” CJSC, as well as local business, tourism and industry organizations attended the opening ceremony, the airline said in a press release.
Speaking at the event, representatives from Armenia and China welcomed the continued development of air links between the two countries and highlighted the important role of aviation in supporting tourism, business and cultural exchanges. Since launching services to Armenia, China Southern Airlines has continued to increase its capacity in the market.
The airline currently operates six flights per week between Armenia and China, providing passengers with greater convenience and more travel options between the two countries.
The opening of the EVN (Yerevan) Office will allow China Southern Airlines to further strengthen its local presence, improve passenger and partner services, and develop closer cooperation with government authorities, the airport, travel organizations and other local partners.
