The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture has given its regular grant to the Union of Armenian Actors. This organization has been chaired by Artur Ghukasyan since 2004, and he is also the real beneficiary in the register of declarations with 100 percent direct participation.
The amount of the grant recently allocated by the Ministry of Education and Culture is more than 15 million drams, which, according to the contract, will be directed to the implementation of the Hay Fest international regional market.
“The regional performing arts market HFPAM (HIGH FEST Performing Arts Market) will be held as part of the HIGH FEST international festival, which will bring together representatives of local and international cultural organizations, festivals, artists and cultural managers.
Within the framework of the project, panel discussions, pitching and speed dating format professional meetings will be held in order to develop international cooperation, professional connections and new joint initiatives in the cultural sphere. HFPAM will serve as a regional platform for the exchange of experience, the presentation of cultural products and the formation of international partnerships,” the document says.
We learn from the electronic procurement system that this is the 7th state grant directed to this structure, starting from 2022.
In May 2022, 20 million drams were allocated to the Ministry of Education and Culture for the Hay Fest, in 2023 the Ministry of Economy allocated 5 million for the organization of the “Hay Street” program of the 21st international performing arts festival “Hay Fest” in Yerevan and Gyumri, and another 3 million to the Ministry of Education and Culture, again for the Hay Fest, in 2024 – 17 million drams, 10 each million in 2025 and 2026 and, in fact, this year for the second time – 15 million drams.
