The main department of investigation of economic crimes and smuggling of the RA Investigative Committee is investigating the criminal proceedings initiated by “Multi Transport” LLC regarding the apparent case of non-payment of taxes of 1 billion 137 million 16 thousand 645 AMD. This is reported by the Central Committee.

“Based on the sufficient evidence obtained during the preliminary investigation, a public criminal prosecution was initiated against the director of the company Artur Dallakyan and the 100% participant and real beneficiary of the company Hayk Galstyan, under the 1st and 2nd points of part 3 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code (non-payment of taxes by a group of persons with prior consent, especially large amounts).

Artur Dallakyan was placed under house arrest, bail in the amount of 15 million AMD and the ban on absence was applied to Artur Dallakyan, while Hayk Galstyan was detained.

The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings is ongoing,” said the Central Committee’s message.
