Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that he will soon appoint a group of applicants who graduated from leading universities around the world to senior positions.

“On June 15, I invited graduates of the world’s leading universities to put their knowledge and professional experience at the service of the public administration system of the Republic of Armenia. I am pleased to note that the initiative has attracted significant interest,” Pashinyan said in a social media post.

A total of 1,141 applications were received, he added.

“Following the review of applications and the initial selection process, 459 candidates, or around 40 percent of applicants, advanced to the second stage. The average age of the candidates is 34.

Based on the results of interviews and professional assessments, a pool of qualified candidates will be formed, where the candidates’ education, experience, and professional skills will be matched with the specific needs of the public administration system.

At the launch of the program, I noted that candidates included in this pool could be offered employment opportunities within the public administration system or other forms of cooperation over the coming year. I must note that I have already made decisions to appoint a number of applicants to senior positions, and in the near future you will see the formal implementation of these decisions.
