Yerevan, Armenia – Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations within the framework of the growing partnership between Yerevan and Paris, as well as discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

Consolidating stability and enhancing regional security

Official sources stated that the meeting addressed prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the political, security and economic fields, in addition to exchanging views on the latest developments in the South Caucasus region, and efforts aimed at consolidating stability and strengthening regional security. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between Armenia and France, in order to support bilateral relations and enhance the implementation of joint projects.

Expanding international partnerships and strengthening cooperation

This comes amid growing cooperation between the two countries in recent years, particularly in areas related to security, defense, and development.

The meeting took place at a time of increasing momentum in Armenian-French relations, with Paris consistently reaffirming its support for Armenia, while Yerevan seeks to its international partnerships and strengthen its expanding cooperation with European countries to address regional challenges and support development and stability.
