Armenia took the 73rd place in the new ranking of the Henley Passport Index

Armenia ranked 73rd in the Henley Passport Index 2026 July ranking, dropping two places compared to the January update.

According to published data, Armenian passport holders can visit 65 countries and territories without obtaining a prior visa or obtaining a visa upon arrival.

In the previous January edition of the rating, Armenia was in 71st place, and the number of destinations with visa-free regime or with visa upon arrival was 66. Thus, within half a year, the republic lost one visa-free opportunity and two positions in the world ranking.

The leader of the July rating is Singapore, whose citizens have visa-free access to 192 destinations. Japan, the Republic of Korea and the United Arab Emirates are in second place (188 destinations), followed by Sweden (187).

The Henley Passport Index is published by Henley

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
