ARMENIA – High-level Armenian officials have met with representatives of Oman’s KV Group to negotiate the export of fresh agricultural products to the Middle East, as Armenia actively seeks to diversify its international trade markets.

Deputy Ministers of Economy Arman Khojoyan and Anushik Avetyan met representatives of the Omani company KV Group to discuss the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables from Armenia to Oman.

According to Armenia’s Ministry of Economy, the meeting focused on opportunities to expand trade between the two countries. Khojoyan presented the government’s export support measures and outlined the country’s production capacity in intensive orchards and greenhouse horticulture.

Furthermore, Armenia’s expanding greenhouse and orchard production capacity makes it an attractive partner for Oman. The country has invested heavily in modern greenhouse facilities and intensive orchard systems, enabling year-round production of high-quality fresh produce.

Additionally, the government has implemented export support measures, including logistics assistance and trade facilitation, to help Armenian producers access new international markets.
