On July 15, the officers of the Charentsavan community police received operational information that the resident of Alapars village was growing hemp on the land near his house for the purpose of making narcotics. As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, 419 cannabis plants were found in the plot near the house of a 39-year-old man. This was reported by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The officers of the Vagharshapat department of the Community Police also received operative information about the cultivation of hemp at the address of the residence. Community policemen who went to Merdzava found out that the information is reliable.
A criminal proceeding was initiated, within the framework of which 14 cannabis plants were found in the yard of a 44-year-old resident of Merdzavan village and in the adjacent area. The owner of the house said that he grew the hemp for the purpose of making drugs.
As a result of the undertaken measures, the officers of the Armavir department of the Community Police also received operational information. According to the information, the resident of Sardarapat village kept narcotics made from hemp in the yard and in the adjacent building. As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, 3 packets of dried, crushed hemp-like mass with a total weight of 12.13 grams were found in the yard of a 39-year-old man. The owner of the house reported that what was found was a drug that he made from the hemp he had grown.
According to the information received by the officers of the Kumayri department of the Community Police, the 38-year-old resident of Gyumri was also growing hemp in the yard of the house. He was invited to the department and as a result of explanatory work, he stated that the information is reliable. As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, 71 cannabis plants were found in the yard of a 38-year-old Gyumri man’s house on Khorenatsi street.
On July 15, the officers of the Yeghegnadzor Community Police received operational information that a 27-year-old resident of Malishka village was growing hemp plants. As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, 12 hemp plants were found in the plot of land next to the mentioned private house in the village of Malishka.
All cases are investigated.
