The “Armenia” alliance will take the mandates according to the consecutive numbers, except for Robert Koch

The “Armenia” alliance will take the mandates according to the serial numbers of the pre-election list. In a conversation with Sputnik Armenia, Agnesa Khamoyan, the parliamentary candidate of the “Armenia” bloc, said this, answering the question: “Is it already known what composition of the bloc will go to the National Assembly?”

“We will take the mandates according to the consecutive numbers, except for the 2nd president of the RA,” said Khamoyan.

The bloc has 12 seats in the National Assembly of the 9th convocation, and since Robert Kocharyan will not take the mandate, Mesrop Manukyan (member of the “Mother Armenia” faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders) will become a deputy with the next number on the list.

National Assembly elections were held in Armenia on June 7, in which 16 parties and 2 alliances participated.

According to the preliminary results, the PAP received 4% of the voters’ votes and could enter the parliament. Later, the CEC invalidated the voting results of 3 polling stations, as a result of which the “Prosperous Armenia” party lost 213 votes, actually not being able to overcome the 4% passing threshold. On June 14, the CEC published the final results of the vote, according to which the PAP did not enter the parliament (58,287 votes or 3.9893%).

According to the final results of the CEC, CP will have 64 mandates, “Strong Armenia” – 29, and “Armenia” alliance – 12 mandates.

On June 19, 7 political forces applied to the CC, demanding to annul the election results. On July 4, the CC left the decision of the CEC in force.
