The police report that despite the repeated notifications issued by the Cyber ​​Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, fraudsters continue to pretend to be employees of mobile operators operating in RA under the pretext of “5G network update”, “communication quality improvement” or “technical settings” and convince citizens to download special programs on their phones.

Unfortunately, as a result of this method, new injured citizens continue to be recorded. Remember, installing such programs allows criminals to gain remote access to your mobile phone, access banking applications and steal your funds.

To ensure your safety:

• do not download programs recommended by strangers;

• do not provide verification codes, passwords or other personal information;

• if you receive a suspicious call, stop the conversation immediately and contact the official service center of your mobile operator.

Remember, mobile operators operating in RA never ask to download any application or program through a phone call.
