The most painful thing for me these days is that people in all the enterprises connected with me have been deprived of the opportunity to go to work and earn their daily bread.

“I thank the large and prestigious list of public figures who made a statement supporting me. Such a step is never forgotten.

I am personally familiar with some of you, we were with some of you at the construction site of the statue of Christ, I don’t know many of you, but it will definitely happen.

To be honest, the first thought that came to my mind after hearing your statement was: how can a nation have so many famous, authoritative figures, people who have achieved serious success in their fields, and our country be in this state?

Our people have great potential. We can straighten our backs, we can restore our self-confidence, we have a lot to say to the world, in culture, in science, in sports, in all fields.

The most painful thing for me these days is that people in all the enterprises connected with me have been deprived of the opportunity to go to work and earn their daily bread. Working, good-making enterprises were stopped. do you realize what a blow it is to entire business sectors across the country and what a blow it is to hard-earned, working people. The unfair case brought against me has nothing to do with those institutions, everyone knows that I left the management of those enterprises a long time ago, I have nothing to do with their current issues, I did not interfere in their work. However, it is also clear to everyone that the illegal suspension of these enterprises is done to cause me pain. I want to express hope that sanity will eventually be restored, and in the end, the work of these enterprises will not be hindered. These enterprises provide employment to thousands of people, tens of thousands of other partners are related to them, whose business is also greatly affected during this period. All this really causes a lot of damage to working citizens and our country in general.

These days I often think about the construction site of the statue of Christ. every stone, every step, every meter is precious and important to me. Recently, I have been thinking that it is time to create a task force for the unveiling ceremony of the statue. I plan that there will be present prestigious guests from all over the world, famous faces, world-renowned figures, official delegations, friends of my country and people, representatives of different nations and religions. Let me say that I already have the assurances of many authoritative persons that they will come to our country at the opening to see the new wonder of the world.

All this should be worked out, planned, discussed, negotiated. In short, there is a lot of work to be done. By God’s will, everything will be done.

I have the deep, inviolable feeling that the construction of that statue will open a new, bright period for our country.

That statue should open a new page, a new success for our country. It should become a new symbol of our internal solidarity, national revival and our presentation to the world.”
