By the employees of the environmental protection and subsoil inspection body. from June 22 to July 10 inclusive, a number of violations were recorded as a result of the strict control measures implemented in the direction of atmospheric air protection in the capital and marzes.

The targets of the measures were the illegal transportation of the fertile layer of the soil, the transportation of bulk materials (sand, cement, plaster, gravel) without dust protection impermeable covers, the transportation of construction waste, as well as ensuring the requirements of atmospheric air protection standards in construction sites.

For 45 cases of violations recorded during inspections, administrative fines were imposed in the amount of AMD 3,150,000.

c. Yerevan

during construction works: 5 cases,

transportation of bulk materials without dustproof covers: 12 cases.

Armavir marz

transportation of bulk materials without dust-proof covers: 13 cases.

Kotayk marz

during construction works: 4 cases,

transportation of bulk materials without dust-proof covers: 3 cases.

Illegal transfer of fertile layer of soil: 2 cases.

Gegharkunik marz

transportation of bulk materials without dust-proof covers: 4 cases.

Aragatsotn marz

during construction works: 1 case,

transportation of bulk materials without dust-tight covers: 1 case.
