On July 12, a tragic incident took place in Yerevan. Around 12:50 p.m., the Nubarashen Department of the Community Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received information that there was a body of a woman in the “National Center for Mental Health Care” CJSC.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the spot, the operative group of the Nubarashen police department headed by Karen Hovhannisyan, the head of the department, went to the scene of the incident. According to Shamshyan, it was found out on the spot that the received information is reliable, and the deceased is 88-year-old Liana Ghukasova, a patient of the mentioned center.

The group of the investigative department of the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee of the RA Investigative Committee, led by the investigator on duty for the day, also arrived. No traces of violence were found on the corpse.

As a result of the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigative department of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts.
