Chairman of the “Strong Armenia” party, Samvel Karapetyan, did not elaborate why many candidates included in the party’s pre-election list submitted their resignations.

In a conversation with journalists, he stated that this process is a part of the party’s plan, adding that he cannot reveal other details at the moment.

“That is part of our secret plan,” he said.

According to Karapetyan, the persons who submitted their resignations continue to be members of his political team, and there is no problem of trust in them.

Referring to the possible nomination of the candidate for the vice-president of the National Assembly, the party chairman said that this issue has not been discussed yet, but noted that the relevant discussions will take place in the near future.
