“As part of the ongoing process around “Araratcement”, a state manager will be appointed in the company very soon,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in a briefing, answering the question of whether the citizens who work in the companies owned by Gagik Tsarukyan and are currently in forced idle time are affected by the current situation.
According to the Prime Minister, the state is obliged to carry out all the necessary processes to protect state interests and, including, to return illegally acquired property.
At the same time, Pashinyan assured that the authorities will take the necessary steps to protect the rights of “Araratcement” employees as much as possible and not to ignore their interests.
Addressing the employees of the factory, the Prime Minister urged them not to get involved in any action, then reminded the Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine (ZPMK) cases as an example.
“I warned in Kapan that the people who carry out actions on orders will be fired. I said that in June, and already in August, all those people were dismissed from their jobs. Criminal cases have been initiated against some of them, some have been convicted, and others are now applying to be reinstated at work. I say no, because the rules were clearly laid out in advance.
I also ask the employees of “Araratcement” not to enter that road. Those who will perform such actions or put pressure on people, inducing them to certain actions, will be fired.
Yes, in fact, I threaten,” Nikol Pashinyan stated.
