Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan message has spread, informing that large-scale military exercises with the participation of the Ground Forces of the country’s army have started, in which the “Commando” special purpose, motorized rifle, mechanized and artillery units, as well as the supply sector, are involved.

During the tactical military event, the tasks of bringing troops to combat readiness, transporting personnel and equipment by rail, transporting military units over long distances by road, including in conditions of limited visibility, were performed.

In addition to this, episodes of the capture of operational and combat regions, defense lines were also played.

Moreover, during the military exercise, taking into account the experience of the 44-day war in 2020 and the latest armed conflicts in the world, modern drones, radio electronic warfare, radio technical intelligence and high-precision weapon systems were also used.

Like a few days ago we reported in the aviation units of the Air Force of Azerbaijan were held training flights, during which Azerbaijan launched a fighter and attackers, target detection and hitting capabilities were tested.

In other words, the peace agenda with Armenia and, in general, the desire for peace in the region or the desire to avoid wars does not change Aliyev’s plans when it comes to the combat capabilities of his country’s armed forces. This once again confirms the famous saying: if you want peace, prepare for war.
