I inform the public that I received a notice signed by the person holding the position of YSU Rector that I will stop teaching at YSU from September 1. Ruben Melikyan wrote about this.

“It is obvious to me that this decision is due to my human rights activity and public activity, because I was not presented and could not be presented with any consideration regarding the quality of teaching itself.

Despite my busy schedule, my decision to invest my money in the education of new generations at the University for decades was primarily determined by my moral obligation to my mother educational institution. Therefore, I finish my 23-year teaching job at the Mother University with a clear conscience and an open mind.

At the same time, I consider this decision of the person temporarily occupying the position of YSU rector as a manifestation of arbitrariness and illegality. It is a small drop in the monstrous program of “Azerbaijanization” of Armenia, an important component of which is the vetting of the scientific and educational system. In this regard, the decision made against me is neither the first nor, unfortunately, the last.

HG. I will naturally continue my educational and scientific activities. In the next few days, I will announce the date of the presentation of my monograph on Mkhitar Ghosh’s Armenian Judgment Book. I will soon hand over my work of about 6 years to the judgment of the reader, and you will see how similar the times are. At that time, too, people were fighting against the program of “de-Armenianization” of Armenia and were also subjected to various persecutions,” he wrote.
