The withdrawal of foreign athletes from the “Olympavan” sports base of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia (NAOC) will cause an international scandal. Iveta Tonoyan, spokeswoman of the party, said this in a conversation with journalists near the house of the leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” party, the chairman of the National Organization of Ukraine Gagik Tsarukyan.

In the morning, we reported that masked special forces broke into Tsarukyan’s mansion. Later it became known that investigative actions are also being carried out in various objects belonging to Tsarukyan, as well as in the apartments of the directors of the companies included in the “Multi Group” concern.

Searches are also carried out in “Olympavan”, where athletes from different countries are participating in the sports meeting.

“We are dealing with a shameful precedent, because the athletes of various sports who were holding training sessions in Armenia for the purpose of various international competitions were taken out of the rooms of “Olympavan”. This is an international scandal. The International Olympic Committee and relevant sports federations will naturally pay attention to this fact,” said Tonoyan.

He emphasized that what is happening affects the country’s international reputation.
Tonoyan added that at the moment the works of dozens of companies are paralyzed, thousands of employees cannot enter their workplaces.

At the same time, searches are carried out in Araratcement, Multi Stone, Multi Tabak companies, Yerevan Ararat cognac-wine-vodka combine, Multi Wellness complex, many hotels, including Tsaghkadzor “Multi Rest”, Verin Ptghni “Multi Grand Paravon” and others.
