Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan is on a working visit to Yekaterinburg, Russia, to participate in the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition and the latest meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Industrial Policy Council.

As part of the visit, on July 6, Papoyan took part in the eighth meeting of the EAEU Industrial Policy Council.

In his remarks, the minister said the council meeting provides a valuable opportunity for substantive discussions on the prospects for industrial cooperation and the implementation of joint projects within the EAEU.

He emphasized that the current meeting of the Industrial Policy Council would make an important contribution to further deepening Eurasian industrial integration and help develop practical solutions that serve the interests of all EAEU member states.
