The Ambassador of Armenia to the USA, Narek Mkrtchyan, had meetings with the representatives of the American companies operating in the field of technology and semiconductors, GlobalFoundries and Texas Instruments.

Matt Krupnick, vice president for international cooperation, and Keith Liao, vice president for global public policy, participated in the meeting from GlobalFoundries, and Texas Instruments was represented by Steve Bonner, head of international cooperation.

The ambassador presented the potential of Armenia’s semiconductor ecosystem, the government’s initiatives and support programs aimed at the development of the high-tech industry, emphasizing the competitiveness of the sector, as well as the favorable opportunities for the expansion of international technological cooperation.

The parties also exchanged thoughts on the possible representation of companies in Armenia, investment opportunities, as well as the possibilities of developing documents of mutual understanding aimed at forming the institutional foundations of further cooperation.
