According to “Ishkhanutyun” news agency, today the law enforcement officers conducted a search at the place of residence of Edik Maloyan, winner of the “Combat Cross” 1st degree, after which he was arrested. At the moment, the official structures have not yet announced the criminal proceedings within which the investigative actions were carried out and on what basis the arrest was made.

According to reports, Edik Maloyan supported Samvel Karapetyan during the last election processes. It is not known whether this circumstance has anything to do with the implemented actions.

Let’s remind that Edik Maloyan is a participant of the April War of 2016 and was awarded the “Combat Cross” 1st degree for his bravery during combat operations.
