The investigative body submitted a motion to extend the prison term of political prisoner Armen Ashotyan by two months. Lawyer Ruben Melikyan wrote about this.
“The petition will be examined in the Anti-Corruption Court tomorrow, July 2, at 18:30.
Let me remind you that Ashotyan was taken into custody on June 5, and the court imposed a one-month prison sentence on him.
Taking into account the 777-day detention in the previous case, Armen Ashotyan’s imprisonment under the current regime lasts more than 800 days in total,” he wrote.
