As a result of the activities carried out by the officers of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, factual information was obtained that the persons acting on behalf of the “Strong Armenia” party bribed a number of voters of the Arbat settlement of Masis community of Ararat region and took material interest in participating in the meeting held near the party leader’s house, on the condition that they would vote for their party in the National Assembly elections and recruit supporters.

In connection with the incident, the RA Anti-Corruption Committee initiated criminal proceedings, arrested a number of persons, and carried out administrative actions.

Notice: the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a legally binding court verdict.
