“The Armenia bloc’s motion regarding Seda Safaryan was not subject to examination, as none of the Constitutional Court judges raised the issue,” the Constitutional Court stated.
According to Article 16, Part 3 of the Law on the Constitutional Court, the issue of a Constitutional Court judge’s inability to participate in the examination of a case may be raised by any Constitutional Court judge. It should also be noted that the cases filed by the seven political forces challenging the results of the parliamentary elections have been consolidated and will be examined in a single proceeding.
The hearing will take place on June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Constitutional Court Judge Edgar Shatiryan has been appointed rapporteur in the case, and the consolidated proceedings will be conducted through an oral hearing.
